Beomeo-dong, Daegu pizza lunch: pepperoni & buffalo wings, Clap Pizza

Don't you have days when you just crave pizza…? I recently went to Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage, and I was so happy with the pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings combo that I'm leaving a review 🍕💛 I think it'll help anyone looking for a good pizza place in Beomeo-dong, anyone stuck on where to have a date lunch in Daegu, and anyone saving Suseong-gu restaurants for later!

Where is Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage, and where do you park?

Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage is at 20 Deuran-ro 73-gil, Suseong-gu, Daegu (Susung-dong 4-ga 2266), in the Believe Heritage shopping block. For parking you use the building's paid lot, and they give you a 1-hour parking ticket if you spend ₩30,000 or more. You can reserve by phone.

It's in the Believe Heritage block in Suseong-gu, so it wasn't hard to find. It's near Daegueunhaeng Station, so access is decent, and since the building's parking is available, it was easy to come by car too.

The exterior has that trendy-brand feel! A slight American street mood and a hip vibe, so it catches your eye even as you walk past. I bet it looks even prettier at night with the lighting~! Parking is supported at the building's paid lot! (1 hour free with ₩30,000 or more)

Inside Clap Pizza and how to order

At Clap Pizza Believe Heritage you can order straight from the staff or use the kiosk. So hip, Clap Pizza~!

The inside was bigger than I expected, with a wood-tone, casual feel! Some people were eating solo, and there were lots of tables of friends and couples too.

The seats weren't cramped, which was comfortable, and overall it's an American pizzeria that also feels a bit like a café, aww. The kind of atmosphere where bringing a laptop wouldn't feel awkward! It looked especially good for a light lunch, so I think it works as a date spot too.

Clap Pizza's signature menu was varied, with a Cheongyang pepper pizza, basil-based ones, half-and-half and more, but after much thought I ordered the pepperoni pizza plus buffalo wings!

I'm personally the type who thinks you should try the basic menu on a first visit, so I picked pepperoni, and in the end I was happy with it, haha

And if you love pizza, searching for a Beomeo-dong pizza place and coming here seems unlikely to let you down! The menu lineup was pretty solid. Sizes come in three: a solo-friendly size, R and L. Check the sizes :)

The buffalo wings have main-dish presence rather than a side-dish feel, so I recommend ordering them together!

Clap Pizza shares its space with the Downtowner burger shop right next door. You can eat in the back! A pizza spot I liked because it felt hip all around!

How do Clap Pizza's pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings taste?

The pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings came out quickly after I ordered. I loved how fast the food arrived~ And the look of it, packed with pepperoni, wow~~

The buffalo wings come as 6 pieces! They were nicely grilled golden brown, as expected~

Pepperoni pizza: salty pepperoni balanced with cheese

From the very first bite, the salty pepperoni flavor and the cheese were just right together. The dough is neither too thick nor too thin, so it's easy going and the kind you keep eating to the crust! It's not just greasy pepperoni; the cheese balance was good, so it never got tiresome.

Buffalo wings & drumettes: crispy and a little spicy

The buffalo wings 🔥 are crispy outside and juicy inside, with a slight kick, so they went great with the pizza. They cut the richness, so I kept alternating between the two. They taste like they'd go with beer, but I was plenty satisfied at lunch!

Review event: free mini fusilli pasta

This is the mini fusilli pasta I got from Clap Pizza's review event! It's spicy yet clean-tasting, so it was nice to nibble in between, hehe

Nutty cheese stretching so long~~~ It's not fake cheese, it tastes like real, delicious cheese! haha Dipping it in garlic sauce makes it even better :)

Is Clap Pizza good for a date lunch in Daegu?

Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage looked good for couples or friends, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a date lunch spot in Daegu. And after eating, I kind of understood why people call it a great Suseong-gu restaurant.

Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage was a place where I was fairly satisfied with the atmosphere, access and taste. The pepperoni pizza especially, even though it's the basic one, scored high, and I recommend pairing it with the buffalo wings.
