Ahead of a resort trip, I tried the Meda Bag rattan bag. I chose the beige color. Before traveling, I wore it first to check out its size, storage space, and how it felt against my body.

What were the packaging and first impression like?
The bag arrived neatly tucked inside a dust bag. Looking at the packaging, I thought it would be nice as a gift, too.

When I first received it, I did not notice any smell. The surface was smooth, so it also felt nice in my hands.

How are the weave and interior storage?
The weave had a sturdy, crochet-bag-like feel. It came in brown and beige, and I chose beige because it looked easier to pair with lots of outfits.

Inside, there is a zip and storage space, making it easy to keep belongings put away. I tend to worry about things slipping out through a woven bag, but I liked that this one was woven tightly.

The interior compartments are divided, so I could separate my things. As someone who packs a lot, the generous size and interior layout suited me well.

Was the large bag heavy or scratchy when you wore it?
It is quite large, but it felt light. You can carry it as a tote or wear it as a shoulder bag, and when I tried it on before my trip, it did not feel scratchy either.

It holds a lot, so it was also good for days when I wanted to bring plenty of everyday items. Since it was easy to carry lightly, I wanted to use it as an everyday bag too.

The straps also felt sturdy, and the finishing was neat. While wearing it, I especially liked its generous storage and light weight.

What outfits go well with a beige rattan bag?
The beige color went easily with everyday outfits. Brown looked pretty too, but for a first rattan bag, I thought beige would be easier for me to style.

Thanks to its natural weave, I thought it would be nice as an accent with a summer dress or resort outfit. I wanted to pair it with weekend outing looks too, and on my upcoming trip, I plan to wear it with a summer dress.
