Gwangju seafood pocha date for two: ₩55,000 salt-grilled shrimp

Hwanggeum Hoe Pocha Gwangju Wolsan Branch is a sashimi and seafood pocha (street-food style bar) newly opened on Gunbun-ro in Wolsan-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju. A couple shared the autumn salt-grilled king shrimp (₩55,000) and the ₩5,000 spicy stew served at the end, and fried their own pajeon (scallion pancake) at the self-service corner. With free sides running from grilled saury to seaweed soup and mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), Hwanggeum Hoe Pocha is an easy place for a drink after work.
