Jinju naengmyeon restaurant with nursing-school friends: Song Giwon

Song Giwon Jinju Naengmyeon Main Branch is a Jinju naengmyeon (cold noodle) restaurant on Modeok-ro in Jinju, Gyeongnam, featured in episode 41 of Jeon Hyun-moo Plan. After a study session, a Jinju university student and her nursing-school friends took waiting number 13, waited about 15 minutes, and all ordered the Song Giwon 1997 mixed naengmyeon (₩14,000), which arrived in under 5 minutes. Thanks to the chewy noodles and generous yukjeon (pan-fried battered meat) topping, everyone finished their bowl of Song Giwon 1997 quickly and left satisfied.

Anmin Yulha (안민 율하) is a pork BBQ restaurant on Yulha Café Street in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, where staff grill the meat at your table. Jinju dakbokkeumtang restaurant with torch cheese fried rice: Tongkeun

Smope Yangnyeom Tongdak & Tongkeun Sotddukkeong Dakbokkeumtang Jinju Hadae branch is a restaurant in Hadae-dong, Jinju, that simmers dakbokkeumtang (spicy braised chicken stew) on a giant pot lid. Three friends ordered the Pot-Lid Set A (Sotddukkeong Set A) with 3 fish cake skewers, a perilla-oil fried egg and a shredded potato pancake, then carried on course-style with ramen noodles and cheese fried rice. The dakbokkeumtang was good, but the torch-finished cheese fried rice at Tongkeun was a main event in its own right.

Jinju naengmyeon spot with a free drink or beer per diner: Songgiwon

Songgiwon Jinju Naengmyeon Direct Store is a Jinju-style yukjeon (pan-fried beef) naengmyeon restaurant on Cheonsu-ro in Jinju, Gyeongnam. Arriving for an early weekday lunch after a lecture, the group ordered two mixed naengmyeon at 14,000 won each, one water naengmyeon at 13,000 won and one ujeon at 25,000 won, and the Naver receipt review event handed out a drink or canned beer for every person at the table. The generous yukjeon topping on the mixed naengmyeon, eaten alongside the self-serve warm broth, was the best part of the meal at Songgiwon.
