Jeonju Korean restaurant with a baby: mulgalbi for two at Hanok Maeul
Hanok Maeul Mulgalbi is a Korean restaurant on Dongmun-gil by Jeonju Hanok Village, serving mulgalbi (broth-simmered short rib hot pot) and galbi hot pot. Visiting with a baby and husband, the writer ordered mulgalbi for two, a bowl of rice and pork yukjeon (pan-fried meat pancake), and spooning the glass noodles and meat over rice tasted better with every bite. With staff who happily played with the baby, Hanok Maeul Mulgalbi made for the first proper, unhurried meal out in a long time — the pot was scraped clean.
