Weekday lunch run at Seongnam naengmyeon restaurant: Myeongyeok Sunae
Myeongyeok Bundang Sunae is a Korean restaurant near Sunae Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi that serves naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles), half-chicken kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) and chicken katsu in one place. Arriving right at opening on a weekday, the writer was seated first and ordered half-chicken kalguksu, spicy seasoned crab bibim naengmyeon and the cheese bomb chicken katsu platter for 38,700 won, and every dish arrived quickly. The seasoned crab naengmyeon, coated in sweet-spicy crab sauce, tasted clearly different from an ordinary bibim naengmyeon.
