Jeonju Hanok Village dakgangjeong spot, Shin Ramyun spicy: Mannyeon
Mannyeon Dakgangjeong Hanok Village Direct Store is a dakgangjeong (sweet-and-spicy Korean fried chicken bites) takeout shop on Taejo-ro in Jeonju Hanok Village, right next to Jungang Elementary School. A medium boneless dakgangjeong in the spicy flavor costs 18,000 won, and it was taken back to the accommodation with a 500ml cream draft beer as a late-night snack; even after cooling, the coating stayed crisp and the thigh meat stayed juicy, and the medium was too much for two people to finish. The Cheongyang chili sauce is only a little spicier than Shin Ramyun, so even people who struggle with spice can handle it.
