Late-night Gwangju Korean restaurant with imo babsang: Ju Myeongdang
Ju Myeongdang is a fusion Korean restaurant and pub on the second floor of a building on Jangdong-ro in Dongmyeong-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju. Two of us went late on a weekend night and ate the imo babsang (auntie's table set) and minari gonbaengi bibimmyeon (spicy cold noodles with sea snails and water dropwort) in a private room, and the already-grilled meat, pickled onions and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) stood out. With no break time and service until 23:30, Ju Myeongdang is a filling late-dinner date spot in Dongmyeong-dong.
