Why did we come back to Avocado Yeosu?

Avocado Yeosu is an avocado specialty café we found while walking near Isunsin Square in Yeosu, thanks to its eye-catching exterior. Back when it was still being set up, the unusual name made me so curious about what it would taste like. We tried it out of curiosity, loved it, and that memory pulled us back here haha

I'd recommend this Yeosu café to avocado fans, and also to anyone who likes desserts that are mild and nutty rather than too sweet.

What are the exterior and interior like?

Avocado Yeosu has a light green and green exterior that stands out from far away, and there's a huge avocado model out front, so you end up glancing at it even when you're just passing by~

Inside, avocado props are placed all around. There's also a camera that's nice for making memories.

From cute avocado dolls to green-accented decor, the place was full of the atmosphere you'd expect from an avocado specialty shop.

The inside stretches long toward the back, and there are seats where you can sit for a bit and eat. It's close to Isunsin Square, so it's a good Jungangdong café to stop at when you're sightseeing and crave a cold drink or dessert.

What did we order at Avocado Yeosu?

This time we ordered a Bakssiyu condensed milk latte, an avocado smoothie and avocado ice cream.

Avocado smoothie: is it too heavy?

The avocado smoothie at Avocado Yeosu isn't heavy at all; you really taste the mild, nutty flavor of avocado. Honestly, I wondered if avocado turned into a drink might be a bit greasy, but after one sip I knew there was no need to worry.

It wasn't too sweet, so it didn't feel overwhelming, and the texture was smooth and thick, so even one glass felt filling. I think it suits people who like the mild flavor of the fruit itself more than smoothies with strong sugary syrup.

It's so good!!! If you're looking for a slightly different fresh fruit juice or a smooth smoothie in Yeosu, definitely try the avocado smoothie. It's genuinely mild and nutty, the kind of taste you keep thinking about :)

What does the Bakssiyu condensed milk latte taste like?

The Bakssiyu condensed milk latte at Avocado Yeosu blends the sweetness of condensed milk with the rich taste of coffee nicely. If the avocado smoothie is mild and nutty, the Bakssiyu condensed milk latte is sweet and strong!! If you like sweet coffee, it's a good order :)

Avocado ice cream: do avocado and ice cream go together?

The avocado ice cream at Avocado Yeosu came as soft ice cream with big chunks of avocado, crunchy coconut topping and fresh coconut topping. Avocado with ice cream might sound unfamiliar at first, but once you eat them together, the nuttiness of the avocado and the sweetness of the ice cream go together better than you'd expect~~

Scooping up the avocado and toppings together was much better than eating the ice cream alone, since you get the nuttiness plus a crunchy texture.

Who would we recommend Avocado Yeosu to?

Overall, the menu at Avocado Yeosu isn't sharply sweet but mild and nutty, so it never felt heavy afterward.
