Rainy-day kalguksu lunch with mom at Todamok, an Ansan restaurant
Todamok is a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant on Daejaengi-gil in Seonbu-dong, Ansan, Gyeonggi. On a rainy day the writer went for lunch with her mom and ordered the chicken kalguksu + roe kalguksu + potato pancake set for two, 35,000 won: the chicken kalguksu tasted light and clean, the roe kalguksu was packed with roe, and both bowls were generous. With a wide parking lot, large family tables and even a mini animal farm, Todamok is an easy choice for a family meal out in Ansan.
