Suwon restaurant with a gungjung tteokbokki self-serve bar: Boriook
Boriook Main Branch is a Korean restaurant in Yeongtong, Suwon, where a self-serve bar gives you unlimited barley rice, namul (seasoned vegetables), fritters and gungjung tteokbokki (mild royal-style rice cakes). We ordered the barley rice set and the grilled soy-sauce pork set and ate them with cheonggukjang (rich fermented soybean stew), and the sesame oil on every table was deep and clean-tasting with no stale note. Boriook Main Branch suits any day you want a generous, homestyle Korean meal.
