Garlic-aged raw galbi vs LA galbi in Yangju: Manpo Galbi return visit
Manpo Galbi Yangju Main Branch is a charcoal-grill galbi restaurant on Songnang-ro in Yangju, Gyeonggi. On a second visit with her husband, the writer grilled garlic-aged seasoned raw short ribs alongside LA galbi and worked through the self-serve banchan bar, six or more standard side dishes, free hamheung naengmyeon and self-serve bbeongtwigi (puffed rice cracker) ice cream. Everything from the side dishes to dessert held up exactly as before, making Manpo Galbi a place worth booking again.
