Heeol Hair Gangnam Flagship Store is a hair salon on Bongeunsa-ro 4-gil near Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam, Seoul. To fix frizzy hair with roots overdue for a touch-up and suit the winter mood, the writer had an all-over dark brown dye, a two-step steamer clinic (moisture, then oil care), a cut and a C-curl blow-dry. At Heeol Hair Gangnam Flagship Store, simply moving a right-leaning part to almost the center changed the writer's whole look.

Brivit Gangnam Station is a pasta restaurant on Gangnam-daero 102-gil in Gangnam, Seoul. Dongtan gomtang restaurant for a non-spicy dinner with mom: Baekok

Baekok Dongtan is a gomtang (Korean beef-style clear soup) restaurant in the basement 1 food court of Lotte Department Store at Dongtan Station in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. After shopping, the writer and her mother ordered two bowls of pork gomtang, which arrive with the rice already in the broth rather than on the side, served with kkakdugi (radish kimchi) and jangajji (soy-pickled vegetables). On a day when spicy food feels like too much, Baekok Dongtan is an easy, filling meal to share with parents.
