Jongno 3-ga bakery where each bread is bagged separately: Munhwa
Munhwa Bakery is a takeout-only bakery at 65 Donhwamun-ro in Jongno-gu, Seoul, a short walk from Jongno 3-ga Station and open 11:00 to 20:00. After spotting the "bread" sign on Seosullo-gil, this visit meant tasting samples first, then picking cheese bagel, squid ink milk-cream bread and walnut bread, each bagged separately and packed into one paper bag that was easy to carry around Seoul all day. If you like plain, nutty-savory breads, Munhwa Bakery is worth a stop on a Jongno 3-ga outing.
