Gangseo octopus restaurant: roe rice balls, medium spice: Jju Baksa
Jju Baksa Magok Branch (쭈박사 마곡점) is a jjukkumi (webfoot octopus) restaurant near Exit 8 of Yangcheonhyanggyo Station in Gangseo, Seoul. At the Jju Baksa kiosk, the writer ordered the 2-person octopus and pork belly set (flying fish roe rice balls, corn cheese, cheese egg custard and a drink), plus udon noodles and non-alcoholic beer. Staff stir-fried the dish at the table, and it was eaten dipped in a peanut-mayo sauce and wrapped in perilla leaves and pickled radish. Medium spice made a spice-shy eater's nose run, but two people ate until stuffed and would gladly return to Jju Baksa Magok Branch.
