Nowon sushi buffet private halls for 50–300 and bigger sushi: Kuu Kuu

Today I went to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, a great spot for a family meal in Nowon! When you hear Kuu Kuu, sushi or a sushi buffet is usually what comes to mind first, but visiting this time, I found not just sushi but sashimi, meat dishes, and desserts all lined up too. :> There are some newly launched menu items as well, so let me introduce them one by one!

Where is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch and what is it like inside?

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is on the 6th floor of Seoul Oncheon Building, 247 Nowon-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul, South Korea. As soon as I walked in, I felt a clean, comfortable vibe from the natural wood and white tones.

How many people can book a private hall at Kuu Kuu Nowon?

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a spacious venue of over 300 pyeong, so there was plenty of room between tables. Group use is available too, with private hall reservations for 50, 80, or 300 people, and group seating that can accommodate anywhere from 14 to 200 people. If you're looking for a place with room for a family gathering or a company dinner, this is worth keeping in mind. The standard dining time is 2 hours, and it runs at 1.5 hours if there are waiting customers.

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch has such a variety of menu items that just walking around the store once made me wonder what to try first haha. From sushi and rolls to sashimi, meats, fried dishes, salads, and desserts, everything was prepared in generous variety.

When is Norwegian raw salmon sashimi served?

The menu that caught my eye most this visit was the Norwegian raw salmon sashimi! I was told this menu isn't even available at the Kuu Kuu Gold branch, which made me even more excited. Being able to enjoy thick-cut raw salmon, not smoked salmon, as sashimi was great. If you love salmon, there's no way you can skip this,,,⭐️ The raw salmon sashimi is served on weekday dinners and on weekends and holidays.

Lamb chops and smoked duck at Kuu Kuu Nowon

Next up was the lamb chops! It's surprising that you can eat unlimited lamb chops at a sushi buffet, and they were so chewy with almost no gamey smell — really delicious! Lamb chops are an all-day menu item, so you can enjoy them regardless of the time.

Smoked duck is also a new addition. It had a chewy texture and a light flavor, so it went well paired with other dishes too! Smoked duck is served on weekday dinners and on weekends and holidays.

Bigger flounder, salmon and botan shrimp sushi

The sushi has been newly upgraded too.❤️ First, the flounder and salmon sushi now have bigger cuts of fish than before, so there's a more generous portion on top. Taking a bite, you could really feel the texture of the fish filling your mouth, which was very satisfying! The shrimp sushi uses botan shrimp, bringing out that distinctive shrimp flavor. Having so many different types of sushi to try was also great>< 🍣

Marble ice cream, served at lunch too

And the menu I personally was most happy to see! It's the marble ice cream haha. Previously it was only served on weekday dinners and weekends, but now you can enjoy it at lunch too. The colorful marble ice cream seemed like something kids especially would love. 🍦 It was great to be able to grab a simple dessert after the meal!

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is located in Seoul Oncheon Building, and the parking lot entrance is at the back of the building. Two hours of free parking are available. However, please note that the parking lot can get crowded on weekends and holidays, and if it's full, you may need to use a nearby paid parking lot.

Visiting Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch this time, I got to enjoy not just sushi but raw salmon sashimi, lamb chops, smoked duck, and a variety of desserts, all in one place.
