Chungmuro summer noodles: lemon soba and bossam, Nagwon-ui Soba
Nagwon-ui Soba is a house-made buckwheat noodle and bossam (boiled pork with wraps) restaurant on Seoae-ro by Chungmuro Station in Jung-gu, Seoul, in the same spot since 2018. On a hot day the writer ordered lemon soba, bossam and pollock hoe mak-guksu (chilled noodles with spicy-tangy raw pollock), and the clear lemon-scented broth, the two cuts of bossam (pork shoulder and pork belly) and the sweet-and-spicy pollock noodles worked especially well together. Popular dishes at Nagwon-ui Soba can sell out, so an early visit is recommended.
