About

Bunko Dining Sadang is a Japanese-style dining izakaya centred on hitsumabushi (grilled eel over rice), kaisendon (seafood rice bowl) and aged sashimi. At Bunko Dining Sadang, the hitsumabushi can be eaten as grilled eel with rice and then, with the broth served alongside, as ochazuke. The sashimi at Bunko Dining Sadang is made up of 9–10 kinds of fish sourced from Noryangjin or directly from the producing regions, and large fish of 3 kg or more are aged before serving.

Bunko started in Suyu in the late 2000s and now runs three locations in Suyu, Sadang and Bangbae, with 5–6 Japanese-cuisine cooks in the kitchen. Bunko Dining Sadang is on the 2nd floor of a building with large picture windows across from Cafe Osse, and its sign is fairly small. Bunko Dining Sadang's interior features wood-toned décor and soft lighting.
