Hamdon Jeongwang is a barbecue restaurant that grew out of five-layer pork belly first tasted in Hamdeok, Jeju, and the name Hamdon (陷豚) carries two meanings: "falling for meat" and "Hamdeok's pork." Hamdon started with Jeju five-layer pork belly, then added a premium pork neck made from Korean pork neck aged in a display tank, and Hamdon Jeongwang also serves a special platter of finely trimmed cuts gathered on one plate.

At Hamdon Jeongwang, the doenjang stew is made with pork bone broth, and more than 10 side dishes are prepared in-house. Hamdon Jeongwang also offers fresh Jeju pork skirt, black pork skin, minari pork belly served with Korean water parsley, charcoal-grilled 2++ Hanwoo brisket and Hanwoo beef tartare with minari.
