About

Jinppaei is a Korean pub that aims to recreate Busan-style flavours by preparing live hagfish, conger eel (anago) and clams in-house. Jinppaei receives its hagfish and conger eel live rather than frozen and serves them salt-grilled, grilled with spicy seasoning or stir-fried on a hot stone plate, and the conger eel at Jinppaei is also available as sukiyaki.

Jinppaei grills its clams over an open flame, offering single grilled scallops, pen shells and abalone as well as Gyeongtaene Jogaegui, an assorted clam platter. Jinppaei also serves cod soup and meal dishes such as spicy mixed wheat noodles, cold wheat noodles, fish cake ramyeon and soy sauce egg rice, in a space styled after an old-school Korean eatery.
