How do you get there from Gangnam and Sinnonhyeon Stations?

The restaurant is on the second floor of Gangnam Dioville. It is within walking distance of both Gangnam and Sinnonhyeon Stations, and the original post says it is about a five-minute walk from Exit 7 of Sinnonhyeon Station. Instead of entering the building, I took the stairs beside it and found the entrance straight away.

What is the seating like for a group of friends?

There were about nine tables inside. When I visited at around 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday, there were many customers, and the two empty tables seated five to six people. I was told those tables were for parties of at least four, so keep in mind that they are intended for larger groups.

What comes with the cheese chicken galbi set, and how much is it?

There were à la carte and set menus. I ordered the two-person Gamsachidalk set for ₩40,000, which came with cheese chicken galbi and a perilla-leaf potato pancake. I was told the chicken galbi did not include basic add-ins, so I added sweet potato noodles for ₩3,000 and also ordered bibim makguksu for ₩9,000. There were several side dishes as well.

How did the cheese chicken galbi and sweet potato noodles taste?

The chicken galbi was served fully cooked, so I could eat it right away.

The mozzarella on top stretched long with every bite. The chicken galbi was salty, while the cheese was nutty, and they went well together. The added sweet potato noodles were fluffy and well cooked, with a sweet taste.

The chicken was tender with no unpleasant smell. It tasted even better with the vegetables or wrapped in the radish wraps. There was also a generous amount of cabbage and rice cakes.

What is the perilla-leaf potato pancake in the set like?

The perilla-leaf potato pancake was a potato pancake topped with large perilla leaves. The potato portion was soft, while the perilla-leaf portion was crisp. It was cooked thinly and through to the middle.

I tore the pancake apart and dipped it in the soy sauce served alongside it, and I also wrapped chicken galbi in it. To my taste, it was clean rather than greasy, so I kept reaching for it.

Does bibim makguksu go well with chicken galbi?

The bibim makguksu (spicy mixed buckwheat noodles) had chewy noodles that felt similar to naengmyeon. It was generously topped with cucumber and pear, along with a whole egg.

It was good as a palate cleanser between bites of chicken galbi. Eaten with the spicy chicken galbi, it felt refreshing and cleared my palate.
