Why did I use a car windshield oil film remover?
When driving on rainy days, something seemed to smear across the windshield and made my view feel stuffy. Even with the wipers on, it somehow looked hazier, so I tried AutoGrooming Clean View Glass Oil Film Remover for the first time.

This product removes oily film and grime from car windows. Using it myself, I found the process wasn't difficult, and I was happy because I could see the difference when rinsing with water.

Is it easy to use, even for the first time?
It comes with a dedicated towel, so I didn't need to prepare one separately. Rather than scrubbing hard, I worked as if I were wiping broadly across the glass; even going slowly from the windshield to the side and rear windows took about 10 minutes.
Some solution got on the rubber trim while I worked, but when I used it, I didn't see any whitening. One bottle felt like it could last for around three to four uses. I haven't actually used it that many times.
What order did I follow to remove the oil film?
- First, I washed the glass with water. At this point, the water did not spread evenly and instead beaded up into droplets.
- I sprayed the solution evenly over the glass and rubbed broadly with the included towel. After going over the same area four to five times, the beaded appearance gradually decreased.
- Finally, I rinsed thoroughly by spraying on plenty of water. This was the step where I could feel the difference in how the water flowed most clearly.

Before use, the water broke up and remained like streaky stains; afterwards, it spread thinly and ran off naturally. I could see the difference between the treated and untreated sides.
How was the view after removing the water?
Before use, the glass looked patchy and streaky.

Once I finished and removed the water, the windshield felt clearer and my view looked sharper. The stuffy feeling I had while driving also eased.
Did I try it on bathroom glass too?
I heard it can also be used on shower-booth glass and may help with areas clouded by water scale. This time, though, I only used it on car windows and haven't tried it in the bathroom yet.
What did I think after removing oil film for the first time?
It was my first time doing this, but the process of rubbing with the towel and rinsing was not difficult. What I liked most was being able to see the change in water flow and the clearer view after drying in such a short time.
