In short
Dolsoe Ssambap is a Korean restaurant in Hanam, Gyeonggi, serving ssambap sets with 12 kinds of wrap vegetables and eight refillable side dishes. A home-style ssambap spread in Hanam Misa
Lately, even when eating out, I sometimes crave Korean food that feels comforting and healthy, like a home-cooked meal, rather than something overly intense. This time I went to Dolsoe Ssambap, where you can properly enjoy ssambap (rice and fillings wrapped in leafy vegetables) in Hanam Misa.
Along with the main dish, the table came loaded with eight side dishes, savory soybean paste stew, soft steamed egg, and nearly 10 kinds of wrap vegetables. It was a great fit for days when you want healthy, home-style ssambap. I especially loved being able to wrap the mains, rice, and side dishes in all sorts of leaves, so it is also a nice place to visit when you want to eat plenty of vegetables.
It would work not only for anyone looking for Korean ssambap in Hanam Misa, but also for anyone seeking a satisfying Hanam lunch spot. The dining room is fairly spacious, so it also seems worth considering for a Misa dinner gathering with family or friends.
Location and visit time
The address is 0016 and 0017, 2F, Building A, 165 Misagangbyeonhangang-ro, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea (경기 하남시 미사강변한강로 165 A동 2층 0016호, 0017호). Hours are 11:00–21:00, with a break from 15:00–17:00, and parking is available.

The sky was so pretty on the way to Dolsoe Ssambap that I had no choice but to take photos. It is right in front of the bus stop, so it is easy to find as soon as you get off the bus. And if you drive, the underground parking garage is super empty, so it is easy to come by car too, haha.

Dolsoe Ssambap is right there as soon as you step off the elevator on the second floor.
I visited at 7 p.m. on a Thursday evening. There were around 10 tables, so there was plenty of space, and more guests came in after us because it was dinner time. Since it is such a healthy, home-style ssambap set, it seemed absolutely perfect for a family group gathering or dinner with your parents too, haha.

Ta-da, the water is barley tea, haha. You know how there is barley tea in the refrigerator when you go to your mom's house? That feeling—barley tea is the default water here. Such delicious barley tea, haha.

Unlimited refills of 12 wrap vegetables and eight side dishes
True to the name Dolsoe Ssambap, there are a whopping 12 kinds of wrap vegetables. At home, even if you have a lot, it is usually only three or four types. At Dolsoe Ssambap, you can choose and eat as many different leafy vegetables as you like.

There are eight basic side dishes. Even when you eat at home, you do not have eight side dishes, right? I think it is so great that you can eat more healthily and with more variety than a home-cooked meal. When there is nothing to eat at home but you want a home-cooked meal, I think Dolsoe Ssambap will really come to mind.
Amazingly, the eight basic side dishes and 12 kinds of wrap vegetables come with unlimited refills. In a time when vegetables are so expensive, they refill all these sides and vegetables? I love it, haha.

Mackerel ssamjang and seafood ssamjang
These are Dolsoe Ssambap's signature-style ssamjang (savory soybean dipping paste): mackerel ssamjang on the left and seafood ssamjang on the right. Normally, they provide one ssamjang for two servings, but huh? We ordered one serving each of two dishes and received both kinds, haha.
Thanks to that, we got to try both. Ssamjang can make or break ssambap—the ssamjang has to be good for the ssambap to be good, right?! Seafood or mackerel in ssamjang?! It is delicious even with just ssamjang and plain white rice. I am not exaggerating; I tried a bite exactly like that, and it was delicious. Ssambap comes down to fresh vegetables and good ssamjang. This place puts its bet on ssamjang, and it is good.

These are the steamed egg and soybean paste stew that come as standard. They are like the textbook home-meal duo, so you would miss them if they were absent. They are not necessarily things you would expect to be included, but amazingly, Dolsoe Ssambap provides them as standard, haha. They are so generous with the home-style spread.
And the soybean paste stew is so good ㅠㅠ The steamed egg is ordinary steamed egg, but the stew was so delicious that I ended up finishing a whole bowl of rice for the first time in years... hehe.

Amazingly, everything in the photo above is included as part of the basic spread. The mains we ordered had not even come out yet. Yet a whole tableful of home-style ssambap was already complete.

One serving each of beef bulgogi and stir-fried spicy pork
There are six main dishes in total.
- Pork ribs ₩16,000
- Beef bulgogi ₩14,000
- Stir-fried spicy pork ₩14,000
- Beef brisket slices ₩14,000
- Thin-sliced pork belly ₩14,000
- Stir-fried octopus ₩16,000
The thin-sliced pork belly and beef brisket slices are dishes you grill yourself on the tabletop grill, while all the other dishes arrive cooked. We ordered beef bulgogi and stir-fried spicy pork! The menu says you need to order at least two servings, but it was possible to order one serving of spicy pork and one serving of beef bulgogi like we did, haha.

And just like that, a full table of delicious, home-style ssambap was complete. Even for one serving, there was a lot of meat. The meat portion was plenty.

Stir-fried spicy pork that even a spice wimp could enjoy
The stir-fried spicy pork was not too spicy. I am a total spice wimp, so anything hotter than Shin Ramyun is painful for me. But this was really just pleasantly spicy, haha. Stir-fried spicy pork that a spice wimp can absolutely handle—I loved it.
It was not salty despite the spice, with just the right touch of sweetness, so I enjoyed the stir-fried spicy pork so, so, so much ㅠㅠ It is the best.

After one bite... it was so delicious that it put me in such a good mood, and I suddenly thought of Saero, so I ordered a bottle.

We each made a proper wrap in our own style—cheers to ssam~~~~

Since the wrap vegetables have unlimited refills, stack two or three layers of leaves and make a wrap! Then add Dolsoe Ssambap's signature mackerel ssamjang, and it is the finishing touch. Add something delicious to something delicious, and you get something even more delicious.

Both the beef bulgogi and stir-fried spicy pork tasted satisfying, and I was happy because the many side dishes and 12 kinds of wrap vegetables let me fill up in a healthy way.

I tried just Dolsoe's seafood ssamjang on white rice. Haha, I wondered why ssambap was so good, and it turns out it was because of this ssamjang, haha.

The stir-fried spicy pork was completely my style~~

Hahahaha, the soybean paste stew here was just so good... so I simply soaked a spoonful of rice in the stew. And that is how you end up finishing a whole bowl... ㅠㅠ
Halfway through, we had eaten almost all the wrap vegetables, so we asked for a refill, and they gave us more of these varied leaves to choose from. I do not usually get many chances to eat vegetables, so when I can eat such a variety of wrap vegetables, I need to eat lots of them.

A healthy and filling Misa dinner
Overall, I was satisfied with Dolsoe Ssambap because I could have a healthy, filling, home-style meal! It was great to eat all kinds of fresh wrap vegetables along with varied side dishes, and above all, the quality of the stir-fried spicy pork and beef bulgogi was really good.
And I am supposed to cut back on rice... ㅠㅠ but it was so delicious that I polished off a whole bowl. 😂 That is how delicious I found every part of the meal! If you are looking for healthy Korean food or ssambap in Hanam Misa, I would recommend giving it a visit. It felt like I had finally had a proper home-cooked meal after a long time, so I want to come back again. Hanam Misa locals wondering about lunch? Want a healthy dinner with your family? I wholeheartedly recommend Dolsoe Ssambap.
