Hanam pizza restaurant double-cheese ranch combo: The Pizzeria Market
In short
The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa is a handmade wood-fired pizza and pasta restaurant in Hanam, Gyeonggi. I had double-cheese pizza with ranch and honey, basil tomato marinated pasta, an iced latte, and Jeju non-alcoholic beer. Verdict: a bright, open restaurant with especially memorable crisp, baguette-like crust.

I make pasta at home, but pizza is difficult—and handmade wood-fired pizza is even more impossible to bake at home. Haha. The Pizzeria Market is apparently visited by celebrities too. I heard its handmade wood-fired pizza was one of Misa's best, so I headed to The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa, on the first floor of the commercial-residential area across from Seohui Starhills in Misa Complex 8 and behind the waterside Starbucks.
I had walked and cycled along this road so often that, when I got there, it felt strange to realize it was in the spot of a café I used to visit regularly years ago.
A bright, open pizza restaurant interior

The Pizzeria Market, a great atmosphere restaurant in Hanam, felt as bright and sunny as the day outside, thanks to its wide-open feel and views outdoors. Most tables seat four, but there are tables for six or more too, so it works well for small groups. With 15% off pizza takeout and a free whole pizza when you collect 10 pizza-box coupons, it is especially convenient for people in the nearby houses and apartment complexes.
The crisp crust of the double-cheese wood-fired pizza

This was the double-cheese wood-fired pizza, generously covered in cheese. The crust was thick, crisp on the outside, and baguette-like inside; the crust itself completely won me over. They say it is naturally fermented pizza dough made with Italian flour and organic whole wheat, then cold-fermented for 48 hours. You can see the difference, but once you taste it, your mouth knows immediately. The Pizzeria Market began in Itaewon, and calling it not only a Hanam restaurant with great atmosphere but also a handmade wood-fired pizza destination in Hanam Misa would not be an exaggeration.

I added ranch, made with sour cream, and honey as sauces. It was an excellent choice: dipping that crisp, baguette-like crust into ranch brought back memories of the U.S. and Canada. It has been a long time since I last went, but every now and then, when I eat something similar to food I had there, those memories come back vividly. Tim Hortons iced cappuccinos and the pizza with ranch at The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa do that for me.

From the very first bite of double-cheese wood-fired pizza, I dipped it in honey. It seemed to make the cheese aroma even fuller. I dipped away as if it were gorgonzola pizza, then ate the crust with ranch and thoroughly enjoyed feeling like I was abroad.
How was the basil tomato marinated pasta?

The basil tomato marinated pasta brought together extra-virgin olive oil, basil pesto, and marinated tomatoes for an outstandingly rich, nutty flavor. When I make pasta at home using basil pesto from basil I grew myself and good olive oil, it comes out somewhat like tasty pasta(?) ^^ But the pasta at The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa had the extra savory richness that truly good pasta has, and that told me this place really knows pasta. It is not a popular Hanam restaurant for nothing: neither the pizza nor the pasta tastes like an imitation. This is a restaurant that knows how to make flavor.

If basil pesto is not your thing, there are plenty of other options, including ragù pasta, cream pasta, and pizza boats. Stop by this Hanam restaurant with great atmosphere and enjoy both the setting and the food.
Drinks ordered with the pizza

Since it is known for pizza and pasta, I did not expect much from the coffee. But I saw other tables enjoying beer or Americanos, so I ordered an iced latte and Jeju non-alcoholic beer. The coffee blended with milk was wonderfully cold and tasty, and because the beer was non-alcoholic, it was easy to enjoy even after driving. The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa delivers both food and atmosphere, making it great for a couples' date, an office lunch, or a brunch gathering for young moms. I recommend it.
