Normally after cleansing my skin gets dry and tight, so I usually jump straight into skincare afterward. This time I tried HEEDA's foam cleanser, which claims to leave skin moisturized even after washing.

What's inside HEEDA's black tube: Jirisan hardwood charcoal
HEEDA's foam cleanser reportedly contains 5,000ppm of clean Jirisan bamboo charcoal. When I first saw it, the black-colored packaging surprised me — unlike typical foam cleansers, it comes in a sleek black design!

Why choose a mildly acidic cleanser for skin that feels tight after washing?
Since a foam cleanser is something you use daily, the feel matters as much as the cleansing power. My T-zone gets oily, but I feel dry after washing, so I usually avoid anything that leaves a squeaky-clean finish. HEEDA's foam cleanser is mildly acidic and contains Aqua Ceramide and 7 types of hyaluronic acid, so I had high expectations.

When I squeezed some out onto my hand, the product itself was black. Thanks to the charcoal, it cleaned my T-zone — where oil and sebum usually bother me — more thoroughly.

How much foam does HEEDA's charcoal cleanser make?
When I added water and worked up a lather, the foam was richer than I expected. It built up quickly even with a small amount, enough to wash my whole face.
The foam was soft and fluffy, so I could cleanse by rolling the foam over my skin rather than rubbing hard with my hands.

Even with just the right amount, the foam was plentiful and held up well throughout washing. I built up extra foam around the sides of my nose and forehead — the spots where oil usually bothers me — and rolled it in carefully. Thanks to the rich foam, my hands barely touched my skin directly, and afterward the oil felt cleanly washed away. Personally, I really liked the feel of using it!

Using HEEDA charcoal foam as a morning-only wash
I tend to get especially oily in the T-zone when I wake up, so I tried using HEEDA's foam cleanser on its own in the morning.

The oil that built up overnight washed away cleanly, and the cleansing power was solid without leaving that squeaky-clean feeling — a good fit for a morning wash!
Normally my face gets dry and tight quickly after cleansing, which is why I jump straight into skincare. But with HEEDA's foam cleanser, I rarely feel that harsh stiffness or tightness — it finishes moisturized, so I've been using it well as my morning cleanser :)
Verdict on HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal Foam Cleanser
HEEDA's foam cleanser impressed me with its rich, soft foam! The cleansing power was good and it left little tightness, making it a good fit as a morning-only facial cleanser for dry skin. It especially washed away the T-zone oil that built up overnight while leaving skin moisturized afterward — great for someone like me who's usually bothered by post-wash dryness. If you're looking for a morning cleanser with soft foam and a moisturizing finish, I'd recommend this one, HEEDA Foam Cleanser :)
