Visiting Onggi Kkotgejang Main Branch in Guri

A few days ago, I rewatched Hwasa’s soy-marinated crab mukbang on TV, and it looked so delicious that I started searching, like, where’s a good soy-marinated crab spot nearby~~ Then I heard there was a place in Guri with unlimited soy-marinated crab + spicy marinated crab, so I visited Onggi Kkotgejang Main Branch (옹기꽃게장 본점).

You can park behind the restaurant! It’s super spacious, so even beginner drivers can park easily. 🚘 I love a place with a big parking lot!!

Getting here by public transport or car

• By public transport: From Exit 4 of Donggureung Station on Line 8, transfer at the bus stop in front to a bus toward Donggureung and get off one stop later. From Guri Station on the Gyeongui–Jungang Line, transfer to a bus from Exit 1 or take a taxi.
• By bus: From Guri Station or Doldari Intersection, take buses 1-1, 92, 95, 96, or 202, get off at Donggureung Entrance, then walk about 5 minutes.
• By car: Enter “Donggureung” or “Onggi Kkotgejang Guri” in your navigation app; it takes about 10 minutes from Guri IC.

The restaurant was spacious and clean. Onggi Kkotgejang, a great marinated-crab spot in Guri, has no break time, so you can visit whenever! There are baby chairs too, making it perfect for family meals and gatherings. There’s group seating as well, so I recommend it for group get-togethers, company dinners, lunch with friends, haha.

What we ordered for unlimited marinated crab

• Marinated crab for 2: ₩52,000
• Steamed rice: ₩1,000
• 2 fried eggs: ₩2,000

You can also cook self-serve ramen, which costs around ₩3,500! Ramen and marinated crab are the best combo, but I was going to eat lots of crab today, so I’ll have it next time~~ 😉

The basic side dishes were soup, flying-fish roe, kimchi, roasted seaweed, and bean sprouts! The soup was savory and delicious, haha. You can get roasted seaweed from the self-serve bar, and the flying-fish roe is an extra ₩1,000!!!

Soy-marinated crab and spicy marinated crab taste test

Today’s main dishes, soy-marinated crab and spicy marinated crab, arrived. What a generous, mouthwatering spread ❤️ The roe was packed full—instant drooling, hahaha.

First up, the spicy marinated crab with its irresistible sweet-and-spicy seasoning!! The moment I tasted the sauce, I ordered fried eggs. I had to mix rice with spicy marinated crab + fried eggs~~ Look at that crab meat!! It was packed full, and every bite was pure happiness ❤️ Delicious spicy marinated crab with absolutely no fishy smell! Now I see why it’s famous as a spicy marinated crab spot in Guri, hahaha.

Today’s highlight was, of course, the soy-marinated crab!! The sauce wasn’t too salty—just right and easy to eat. And the tomalley inside the shell was so nutty, hahaha. Roasted seaweed + flying-fish roe + marinated crab: a perfect 100-point combo!!! I visited with my parents, and they were happy with both the generous amount and the taste ❤️ One of the best marinated-crab places in Inchang-dong, Guri!!!!

Putting rice and flying-fish roe into the soy-marinated crab shell is seriously soooo good!! It was unlimited refill, so I wanted more, but the initial serving was already plentiful, and we were more than full.
