What criteria did I use to choose it for winter break?
Once winter break started, the kids began going to bed late and waking up late, so their daily routine changed. It was also easy for them to be less active, which made me pay more attention to nutrition.

The product I tried this time was The Day Tunteun Kids Cal-Mag Plus K2. I chose it based on whether it contained calcium, what other ingredients it included, and whether my child could take it without any fuss.
How do you take it each day, and what does it contain?
It is a product you take one stick of a day. I liked that it lets you take calcium, magnesium, vitamin D3, and vitamin K2 all at once.

The calcium and magnesium are said to be formulated in a 2:1 ratio. Rather than looking at just one ingredient, I looked at the combination of ingredients included together.
What did I check about the ingredients and product labeling?
Since it was for my child, I also looked over the ingredient information. It stated that no Japanese- or Chinese-sourced ingredients were added, that it was manufactured at a GMP-certified facility, and that it is a certified health functional food. Potential allergen ingredients were also labeled, which made them easy to check.

How did my child react to the strawberry flavor?
No matter how carefully you look at the ingredients, it is hard to keep giving it to your child if they refuse it, right? My child found it unfamiliar at first, but after trying it once, accepted it naturally. Seeing my child eat it well and say the strawberry flavor was tasty was what pleased me most.
Was it easy to take along when going out?
Because it comes in individually wrapped sticks, it was easy to put one stick in a bag. I could pack it around our schedule, whether we were traveling, visiting my parents’ home, or heading to an academy class. During a break when routines change, I liked the simplicity of preparing one stick a day.
What I liked was the combination of several ingredients, the individual packaging, and a flavor my child ate without resistance.
