When did I reach for kale powder?
I try to make sure I eat vegetables and fruit every day, but on weekends or days when I have plans, there are times when that is difficult. On those days, I tried Organic Curly Kale Flo, which can be conveniently mixed with water.
What is it made from, and how do you take it?
This product is 100% organic freeze-dried curly kale powder. Its product information stated that it is organically certified and tested negative for 512 types of pesticide residues, and that description made me feel confident about the ingredients.
The directions say to take one sachet at a time directly or mixed with water. I did not try eating the powder on its own, and I liked how easy it was to drink mixed with water. It also said it could be mixed into yogurt, though I did not try that myself.
Does it have a strong grassy taste?
I usually like vegetables, so I tend not to mind the flavor of most vegetable powders. A product I had before tasted intensely grassy, almost like drinking blended grass, but Curly Kale Flo felt lighter and cleaner than that. I liked that it went down easily like a drink.
