Sokcho Beach pizzeria for kids: no-veggie cheese pizza, Gagas Pizza
In short
Gagas Pizza is a big-size pizzeria on Saemaeul-gil near Sokcho Beach in Sokcho, Gangwon. The writer visited Gagas Pizza with a child, ordered a cheese pizza with no vegetables and a draft beer at the 1st-floor counter, then ate comfortably upstairs in the bright 2nd-floor dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a high chair and a self-bar. Gagas Pizza is a good spot for a family meal after playing at Sokcho Beach.

[Sokcho Beach restaurant] Overwhelming size and a fantastic view: Gagas Pizza, great with kids

Looking for a pizza place to take a kid after playing at Sokcho Beach?
Gagas Pizza is a hip, clean, nicely designed pizzeria on Saemaeul-gil near Sokcho Beach, with a seaside view. No Sokcho trip is complete without the beach, with its blue waves and white sand, and after playing in the sand with the kids and soaking up the cool sea breeze, you get hungry fast. So I'd like to share what it was like to visit Gagas Pizza with my child.

How are the high chairs and stroller access at Gagas Pizza?
High chairs: yes! Gagas Pizza has them on the 2nd floor, which makes eating with a child easy. The place is on Saemaeul-gil near Sokcho Beach, and the exterior alone already felt seriously hip. It's full of an exotic vibe, which made its particular charm even better.

The shop has two floors: the 1st floor is for ordering and the 2nd floor is for dining, so keep that in mind when you go.

You get between floors by stairs, so if you have a stroller, you'll need to use the 2nd-floor high chair. Worth knowing too.

Pizza size and how to order at Gagas Pizza
The main attraction at Gagas Pizza is the big, large-size pizza, and you can order a whole pie or by the slice.

The way the space is laid out really shows the owner's good sense, which impressed me. Pizza is the main menu, but there is also a wide range of drinks and alcohol, so you can choose to suit your taste.

A whole pie here is basically very big, but you can also get just one slice. Even if the showcase has none left, they'll make a fresh one when you order, so just order from the menu board.

Ordering a whole pie is fine, but slices are available too, so keep that in mind. And if you have slices left after eating in the shop, you can box them up to go, so you can order without worrying.

What's good for kids? Cheese pizza with no vegetables
I ordered the cheese pizza my child likes at Gagas Pizza, and it has no vegetables on it, which made it easy to share with a kid.

It was truly big, and the smell alone was so good it lifted my mood. Even a single slice is large, so the whole family could eat plenty, and the crust right down to the last bite was tasty. Personally, I enjoyed it a lot.

I also ordered a draft beer to go with the pizza. It was nice and cold, and tasted good too, so I really enjoyed it.
The 2nd-floor window view and atmosphere at Gagas Pizza
The 2nd floor of Gagas Pizza had a really good view, and since the building has floor-to-ceiling windows, it felt even more pleasant to stay in.

The props that decorate each area were stylish too. The whole space felt refined, so just being there felt great.
The low rooftops of the neighboring houses seen through the window looked quaint, and with the sunlight pouring in, the space felt bright overall, which I liked even more.
The 2nd-floor self-bar and extra orders: no need to go up and down?
The kitchen is on the 1st floor, but each table on the 2nd floor is mostly set up with sauces and the like, so it was easy to use.

The self-bar is especially well put together, and you can place additional orders right on the 2nd floor, so you can eat comfortably upstairs without running up and down.

Is Gagas Pizza worth visiting on a family trip?
Gagas Pizza is right near Sokcho Beach, so access is excellent. With a refreshing view and a pizza whose sheer size surprised the whole family beyond imagination, I felt a family trip here would be even more satisfying.
