Jaesong-dong local favorite for lunch and dinner — clean broth and meat piled high in the gamjatang (pork bone stew)!! Byeolhaebyeol Gamjatang Centum
This is Joy, hitting two good restaurants in one day! Spacious parking lot and a clean interior — let me introduce Byeolhaebyeol, a Jaesong-dong favorite packed with regulars and locals, a hearty and delicious gamjatang place.

Byeolhaebyeol Gamjatang Centum: hours, address and parking
Byeolhaebyeol Gamjatang Centum is located at 70-1 Jaeban-ro, 1st floor, Haeundae-gu, Busan, and is open 10:00–21:30, closing at 15:30 only on Tuesdays. No break time in summer, no regular closing day, and there's a dedicated parking lot.

With its own parking lot you can park easily, and there's plenty of seating ready too.

Seeing there's even a waiting area confirms this is a wait-time favorite lol. I went at 3pm so thankfully avoided it 😌 Apparently this Jaesong-dong favorite is already famous lol. I had to check it out myself ✌️

The place was run very clean and pleasant, with wide spacing between tables, so it was comfortable to eat here.

They must use good rice — I saw bags stacked up in the restaurant. No wonder the rice grains were plump and glossy lol.
Menu and order: mild pork bone soup for two, 10,000 won
Byeolhaebyeol Gamjatang Centum's menu has just two items!! Gamjatang and pork bone soup. I ordered the mild pork bone soup, ₩10,000 for two ✅️

You can grab extra side dishes at the self-serve bar, and there's a separate kids' meal menu too, so moms bringing kids along should feel comfortable ^^

Side dishes and adjusting the heat with chili powder
Napa cabbage kimchi, diced radish kimchi, chili peppers, onion, ssamjang, and garlic make up the basic table setting~ Kind of similar to what you'd get at a gukbap (soup and rice) place lol.

While I was debating between mild and spicy, the owner brought over some chili powder!! She said adding a little at a time makes it progressively spicier, so she gave it to me to adjust to my own taste 😌

Since I'd be picking meat off the bones, I got an apron ready lol.

How does the pork bone soup taste? Face-sized bones and soft cabbage greens
Big chunky bones and napa cabbage greens overflowing the bowl — it looks filling just to see it! Piled generously with meat and served neatly, it really gets your appetite going.

The pork bone soup looks hearty just from its visuals, and it comes out bubbling hot in a stone pot, which really gets your appetite going lol.

Whoa‼️ The bones are seriously huge~~ One bone feels like it's genuinely the size of my face lol. Big bones packed with tender meat, and there's a generous amount of meat attached too~

They were so big I thought I'd set one aside to eat, but ended up having to set both aside lol. The bones and meat are just too big!! lol

Once I moved both bones out of the way, the napa cabbage greens underneath were touching, there was so much!! Seriously, why is there so much lol. And it wasn't tough at all, so soft that it was great to eat with the meat~

The broth was spicy-hot yet savory, and the deeper flavor came through the more I drank it — really delicious 👍 No off smell from the meat at all, just clean and rich! I also tried adding the chili powder from earlier to make it a bit spicier, and it wasn't too spicy, just deepened the heat nicely lol.

The meat came off the bone smoothly and was moist with no dryness at all, easy to eat!! Pick off the meat, dip it in the broth, and eat it with the napa cabbage greens and rice — total rice thief ❤️

A mint candy I hadn't seen in ages, plus a mix coffee — the perfect finishing course lol 👍
Generous portions, great taste, and overall very satisfying for the price — this pork bone soup! I'd love to come back whenever I'm craving a hearty meal with spicy-hot broth 🙏 Well, I ate well and I'm off~
