What is the CSSAE Sebum Pack?

CSSAE's sebum-absorbing patch mask is a sebum patch that doesn't require squeezing — the sheet itself absorbs and pulls out sebum. I tried CSSAE's mask today. It's my first time using a sebum patch too, so it was really fascinating. I bought this CSSAE sebum-absorbing patch mask after a Naver search, and delivery arrived fast, within a day. Squeezing out sebum opens up pores, which isn't great, but this patch removes sebum and dead skin without opening pores at all. The sheet itself absorbs the sebum built up inside pores and scales it away cleanly — being able to remove it without squeezing is a huge plus :)

Oh, and there's a generous usage period printed on it too, so I could stock up and use them over a long time. When I finish these I'll have to repurchase ~~

So there are three patches included like this :) The price isn't a burden either, so it's nice to pull one out whenever I want to clean up my skin.

How to use the CSSAE patch and how long to leave it on

CSSAE's patch mask is applied to dry skin and left on for 50 minutes to an hour before removing. The patch has two covers, one on the front and one on the back — remove one cover first, place the patch on your face, then remove the other cover. Wait about 50 minutes until the sheet dries, remove the patch, then finish with moisturizer! The recommended time on the packaging says 50 minutes to an hour. Oh, and when applying, put it on dry skin with no moisture. It says to wet it before removing, but even without water it came off in one go right away.

It's fine to use daily, but it's best used as focused care 2-3 times a week! Whenever sebum production feels heavy or pores seem loose, do a round of care then. Lately I'm living for the fun of stocking different types of masks and picking one depending on how my skin feels that day. It's basically my only healing time...

The patch itself not only cleans out pores but also tightens the pore openings shut, so it takes care of pore elasticity all at once too.

Did the CSSAE Sebum Pack irritate sensitive skin?

As someone with sensitive skin, I had no stinging or breakouts using CSSAE's patch. The patch was really moist, so it stuck well to skin and didn't fall off. It really clings like a glue stick and doesn't come off. Some patches fall off little by little even just from standing up, but this one you could probably go about your day with it still on. My skin is quite sensitive so anything harsh shows up immediately, but this patch caused no stinging during use, and no breakouts afterward either, so it should work for sensitive skin or any skin type.

I decided to leave it on long enough before removing ~~ The longer time passed, the more I felt the patch absorbing into my skin. But it wasn't overly drying either — it stayed moist the whole time. Even when removing it, the patch felt moist, so I wondered if it would actually help remove sebum, but wow…

How much sebum and dead skin actually came out?

When I wet the removed CSSAE patch to check, way more dead skin had been pulled out than I expected. I kept asking myself, wait, is this really from this? It's so fascinating. To check, you just wet the patch with water, and it turned out much more dead skin was removed than I thought. This seems like a mask I'll reach for often during the changing seasons or dry periods. My skin's been getting drier lately and makeup was starting not to sit well, so this is exactly the item I needed…?

The next day after using the patch, my skin was so soft and smooth — total baby-skin magic... Makeup went on well and, most of all, having clean skin just felt good.
