Melatoning facial for melasma and dull tone in Jincheon: Reve Esthetic

Today I visited Reve Esthetic in Jincheon's Chungbuk Innovation City. I have a lot of acquaintances in the area so I come here often, but this time I went for a skincare treatment.

Location and parking (4th floor of the Onda Optical building)

Reve Esthetic is on the 4th floor of the Onda Optical building across from Umyrin, and the underground parking entrance is behind the building, next to Bonjuk. If the lot is full, you can use the public parking lot nearby. I parked at the nearby public lot myself — it's a 3-minute walk!

From the entrance, the place feels neat and orderly — so clean that I almost hesitated to walk in. (I went in anyway.)

An atmosphere with scent and music

The director clearly cares a lot about scent and oils, because a lovely fragrance lingers throughout the space. The background music is soft and mellow too, so the place lets you focus purely on resting.

It seems like these are the actual products they use, displayed out in the open. The calm, grounding atmosphere released the tension I had before the treatment, and I got to forget the outside world (?) for a while and just soak in the comfort..

After the consultation, they recommended melatoning

First, in the consultation room, we talked through my skin concerns, and they recommend a treatment tailored to your individual skin condition. I mentioned melasma, spot marks, and a dark, dull tone as my concerns, and they recommended melatoning! Decided on the spot ~

The order of the melatoning treatment

The treatment began in a clean, cozy room. First, oil was used to ease tension, then things got started. My face was cleansed thoroughly, followed by dry care and wet care (vitamin C ampoule + powder). After that came lymph node massage, sono stimulation, and a mask pack, in that order. The complimentary extra was an abdominal massage.

The dry and wet care are done with ampoules plus a machine, and it felt like it penetrated deep into the dermis, filling my skin with moisture all the way through. Ah, so this is why people get machine treatments~ I thought. No matter how many mask packs or good ampoules I've used at home, I never felt that deep-absorption sensation — this really hit the spot.

What struck me during the treatment was how thorough and careful they were, not missing even the smallest detail — honestly more invested in my skin than I was!! It really felt like they were doing their best for me, which was touching.

There was zero pushy upselling; they explained everything as care I genuinely needed, so I could trust the process. They also kept checking in to see if I was uncomfortable at any point, which I appreciated! Even if you don't have serious problem skin, they tailor the treatment to your individual condition and only use good products!! Everything about this place was satisfying ~

Sandwich and tea for lunchtime visitors

I visited during lunchtime, and after the treatment they prepared a sandwich and tea for me to have something light to eat. Apparently this is only offered to customers who visit during lunch hours — is there no end to how thoughtful the owner is?.. another touching moment. I'd gone on an empty stomach and was already hungry.. this was perfect!

They also gave me samples of the mask pack, ampoule, cleanser, and cream used during today's treatment, so I could keep up the care at home. They even wrote out how to use each one separately — truly, there's no small detail the owner's touch doesn't reach.

How my skin changed after the treatment

I was surprised at how much brighter and more radiant my face looked after the treatment. I went straight to a gathering, and a close friend asked what I'd done, saying my face looked plump and had good color,,! Felt so proud.

There was an episode before where an acquaintance thought my complexion looked so dark that they asked if I was okay health-wise, and I had to explain that my liver enzyme levels were normal — well, now that my face is bright, that won't happen again ~ ^ㅡ^ // I didn't even get this done for my wedding prep, but getting exactly the care I needed made for a truly happy day.
