Late-night lash lift until 10pm in Busanjin, Busan: Almond Eyelashes

Lately, between childcare and general exhaustion, I've been wondering why I look so rough these days — haha, maybe it's my eyes? Lash lifts are addictive once you start. While visiting my mom's place, I looked up good lash spots near Seomyeon and found Almond Eyelashes. Dropped the baby off with my mom and headed straight there : )

Where is Almond Eyelashes and how late is it open?

Almond Eyelashes is located on the 2nd floor of 156 Beomil-ro, Busanjin-gu, Busan. It's open 10:00 - 22:00, closed every Sunday.

Almond Eyelashes is near the jewelry arcade of Jungang Market in Busanjin-gu, right in front of the Jungang Market bus stop, so it wasn't hard to find at all! Locals still call this area "Jobang-ap" — haha, haven't said that in a while (it means "in front of Chosun Textile", a factory that was demolished back in 1968). Kind of wild that people still call it that.

And since Almond Eyelashes stays open until 10pm, that's a nice bonus too. A lot of office workers find it hard to make time during the day for a lash lift or extensions, so being able to stop by after work is great! Good for moms like me juggling childcare, but also for anyone who can't get away on weekday afternoons — a place open this late is such a relief haha. If you're looking for somewhere to take care of your lashes after work around Seomyeon, this place is easy to fit into your schedule : )

Almond Eyelashes, well known for lashes around Seomyeon, offers lash extensions, lash lifts, and semi-permanent makeup. Lash lifts run ₩30,000 for the basic version and ₩40,000 for the nogeulo protein lift, while lash extensions range from ₩40,000 to ₩90,000 depending on the type.

These days I barely have time for makeup, and using an eyelash curler every morning feels like such a hassle — once I get a lash lift I keep coming back for more haha. So naturally, I searched for lash lifts in Busan again and ended up here : )

I had a thorough consultation with the director first, talking about what style I usually like and what kinds of lash lifts I'd tried before. She recommended the nogeulo protein lift, so I went with that : )

Most of all, just lying there quietly and stepping away from childcare, even for a bit, felt way better than expected haha. Precious me-time for a mom who dropped her baby off and slipped out : )

What is a nogeulo protein lash lift like, step by step?

On to the actual lash lift at Almond Eyelashes! Before starting, the director checked the condition of my lashes and worked through the process carefully.

Since a lash lift means keeping your eyes closed for a while, how comfortable you feel during the treatment really matters — and I was able to relax without any discomfort. She also checked in carefully whenever something needed adjusting, which I appreciated. It had been a while since my last lash lift, so I was pretty curious how it would turn out haha.

Lately every time I looked in the mirror I seemed dull and tired, but just changing my lashes gave my whole expression a slightly different feel — very satisfying. It had been a while since my last lash lift, and I visited Almond Eyelashes, well known around Seomyeon for lashes. The thorough consultation was great from the start, and after I explained the style I wanted, the director recommended a lift that suited me, so I could relax and leave it in her hands.

Between childcare, taking care of myself has been falling further down the list lately, but somehow just getting a lash lift gave me a little mood boost haha. With my eyes looking more defined, I feel a bit less tired every time I check the mirror! Especially with a trip coming up next week, I'm looking forward to how photos will turn out. A rare little indulgence, dropping the baby off and going out alone — mission accomplished.
