Hi, it's Do-eun, saying hey-YAHWA! Am I turning into a professional solo-drinking-bar reviewer at this point? Haha haha haha. I'm starting to notice what makes each bar different now ~ ~

It's about a 3-minute walk from Exit 9 of Euljiro 3(sam)-ga Station, where Line 2 and Line 3 meet,

and it's right at an intersection ~
Maybe that's why it fills up so fast after opening — honestly, of all the bars I've been to, I don't think I've ever seen one fill up this quickly ~
Interior mood, seating, board games and question cards
Inside there's a space to leave your coat or bag, and a waiting area too!

There were also a few board games so you could play with the people next to you ~ And I noticed icebreaker question cards set out at the seats too!!

The seating was arranged in a T-shape, and with the dim lighting, I found myself naturally focusing on whoever sat across from me!

Seat rotations and the 10pm tequila event
Seats rotate every hour like this, and at 10pm they run a small event giving out tequila, so the seat rotation happens without anyone feeling awkward, which made it comfortable ~ There was also a chat room like this!

A basic chicken drumstick snack comes out, and there's also a kind of notebook — like a diary — where guests leave their traces haha

They have a wide variety of drinks ready, so you can order signature cocktails or whiskey ~

This is what it looked like on the Thursday I visited — can you tell how packed it is? And Yahwa's advantage is that, unlike other solo-drinking bars that don't open on weekdays like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, this place opens every single day, which is great for a quick drink — that's the real-ity!

Tasting the signature cocktails: Yahwa and Moonlight Peony
— Yahwa
Sweet, but don't let your guard down — Yahwa's signature cocktail / ABV: ??? / one per person

The ABV is seriously strong — like, strong strong. When I ordered it they asked if I was okay with a cocktail that's this many percent, and I was like, well, I'm a strong woman, so I ordered it anyway. It's potent, but sipping it slowly while chatting, the sweetness was pretty charming.
— Moonlight Peony
A light, refreshing floral cocktail

This one's about 6% ABV, and I know exactly what it tastes like — it's Mogu Mogu peach! Feels like something women would especially love.

Which snacks were the best
— Truffle potato chips. Regular potato chips are already delicious, but chips with a hint of truffle aroma paired with cocktails? So good, I couldn't stop eating them...

— Pineapple sorbet. It was so good I ended up photographing it mid-bite... maybe that's the fear of tasting something you already know is amazing. Pairing cold sorbet with drinks was so nice.

— New York cheesecake. Whether you call it cheesecake or 'chees-cake,' sharing it while it was cool and refreshing was so tasty. It comes thawed from frozen, which makes it even better.

— Cassava chips. You know that plain, clean kind of snack you need alongside drinks? Eating these, they're light but the portion is huge — totally recommend.

Is it okay to go alone?
I ordered a snack to share with the group, and the girls thanked me and made little heart signs for a photo, TT don't forget, girls, that you hung out and chatted with your unnie — remember me, Eunjin and pretty girl —
At Yahwa Honsul Bar Euljiro, since it opens every single day you can drop by anytime, and with a balanced gender ratio and everyone enjoying the conversation so much, I ended up hanging out with both women and men like we were already old friends. The girls who said I looked like Jennie — you two are the best — hope you enjoyed what unnie bought you! It's a great spot for a second stop, and just as good to visit solo — go have fun at Yahwa Honsul Bar Euljiro~
