Shopping at Daiso is so hot right now, haha. I love browsing home goods too, so this time I visited On Saenghwal (온생활) near Seohae-gucheong Station, a store that's easy on the wallet and has a huge variety of things :)
Where do you park at On Saenghwal?
If you come by car, use the Umin Building parking lot next to No Brand, across from the store.
On Saenghwal is split into two floors, and it sells a really wide range of things, from instant food to stationery, kitchenware and toys.

It's just as fun to browse as Daiso and the prices are decent, so if it were in my neighborhood I'd want to drop by often! I'll walk you through what's there, floor by floor :)

I only planned a quick look, but once I got inside there were far more kinds of things than I expected, and browsing was surprisingly fun! The store runs from the 1st floor up to the 2nd, with food, kitchenware, toys and phone accessories all covered. If a place like this were near me, I'd stop by whenever I needed something. So here's my review of this budget-friendly home goods shop!

Getting to On Saenghwal from Seohae-gucheong Station, and moving between floors
On Saenghwal isn't far from Exit 4 of Seohae-gucheong Station. It's easy to reach by public transport, so it'd be a fine stop if you have other errands nearby.

The store is divided into the 1st and 2nd floors. There's an elevator to the left of the entrance, so it looks easy to get upstairs even if stairs are hard for you. You can also go between floors by the stairs inside the store.

It seemed like a good fit if you're looking for a home goods store near Seohae-gucheong Station and want to compare lots of different products in one place.

1st floor of On Saenghwal: food, stationery, party supplies, umbrellas
The 1st floor had small everyday items along with snacks and food you can grab easily.

I saw instant food like dumplings and fried snacks, and you can also buy hair dye, cosmetics and stationery.

When something comes up that you need in a hurry, you don't have to run around to several shops, so this kind of lineup felt really convenient.

The stationery is displayed by type, so it looked like a good place to look around for kids' school supplies, pens and small items.

Party supplies caught my eye too. There were number balloons and initial balloons that work well for anniversaries, so they're worth a look when you're planning a birthday party. There were also sundries like umbrellas and hats for whatever the weather is doing.

Being able to buy an umbrella close by when you suddenly need one felt really practical.

2nd floor of On Saenghwal: phone accessories, bathroom and kitchen goods
The 2nd floor is where I spent the most time. I came expecting mostly household goods, but the range was much wider than I thought, so I ended up browsing slowly.

Everyday items were grouped by type, from phone accessories and earphones to socks, beauty products and hygiene goods.

There was a good variety of bathroom items and cleaning tools, and you can find things you run out of often, like detergent, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

Can't skip the kitchenware corner either. Cups, bowls, pots and other tableware, plus all sorts of kitchen tools, were gathered in one spot. From scrubbers you replace often to tools for cooking, it was handy to see everything together.
If something at home has run out, or you need a product while tidying up the kitchen, I thought this would be a great place to get it all in one trip.
Is the toy and safety goods corner at On Saenghwal good for kids?
On Saenghwal also had a wide range of toys kids would like. I saw cute ones like the squishy toys (malangi) that are popular these days, and it's nice that you can check lots of different toys in person while choosing.

You can compare as you go through the price tags, so I think it'd be fun to browse even with a child.

Besides toys, there were even things I hadn't expected, like earphones and everyday safety goods, so browsing never got boring. I think that's the charm of a store like this: you come looking for one thing at home and discover other household items too, haha.
If you're looking for a home goods store near Seohae-gucheong Station, it's fine to dash in, buy only what you need and leave, but I'd also recommend leaving yourself a bit of time to look around the whole place. It's fun to discover things you never thought of!

Cutting costs with On Saenghwal's open chat group buys
I heard On Saenghwal also runs group buys through an open chat room. Good shopping info to know before you visit!

Depending on the group-buy item, you may get a more reasonable price than what's sold online, so take a look if you're interested. Items, prices and how to join can change from time to time, so it's best to check the latest in the open chat room before buying what you need.

If you're planning a visit to On Saenghwal, I recommend checking the group-buy info along with the in-store prices :)

There were quite a lot of cups too, and I think I'll collect them by color! (so cute)
If you're planning some home goods shopping near Seohae-gucheong Station, go to On Saenghwal and compare the things you need in person.
