Low-pH cleansing foam for dry skin: HEEDA Charcoal Hydrating Foam
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Hydrating Cleansing Foam is a low-pH facial cleanser I used in Korea when my formerly combination, acne-prone skin felt drier and more sensitive. It lathered richly with a small amount and left my skin feeling fresh and moisturized rather than tight.

How did it feel on dry, sensitive skin?

I started using it while looking for a low-pH cleanser because my skin gets sensitive during seasonal changes. I particularly dislike the tight feeling of my face seeming to crack after washing, but this one left my skin feeling moisturized without that sensation.

I used to have combination, acne-prone skin, but lately I have been feeling a lot of dryness. In fall and winter, my skin can sting if I do not apply lotion right after cleansing. After using this, though, I felt a fresh moisture rather than a slippery or oily residue.

How were the lather and cleansing process?

Even a small amount produced a rich lather. I could wash with soft foam, so it also felt gentle against my skin.

I was initially worried because the formula was black, but the foam came out white. It felt cleansing enough, while the tightness after washing was not severe.

Was it comfortable to use both morning and night?

I used it comfortably both morning and evening. A small amount lathered well, so I felt it would last a long time, and it was fine even on days when I was especially mindful of dryness.

How does it compare with the HEEDA products I used before?

My family and I have used more than 10 tubs of HEEDA cleansing balm. This cleansing foam also suited my preferences with its moisturized finish and rich lather, so I decided to keep using this one.
