Do you guys like handmade burgers?🍔 I really love burgers, and I especially can't resist a handmade burger with a thick patty... yes, that's me,, While I was trying to decide what to eat on the weekend, I went to Downtown Daegu Believe Heritage (다운타우너 대구빌리브헤리티지), famous as a top handmade burger spot in Suseong, Daegu and a go-to burger place in Beomeo-dong! And now I get why everybody keeps going on about Downtown 🤣

Downtown Daegu Believe Heritage is at 20 Deuran-ro 73-gil, Suseong-gu, Daegu, Building 302, 1st floor, Unit 204, and it's open 11:00–21:00 (last order 20:00). Parking is available, and you get 1 hour of free parking if you spend ₩30,000 or more.

A Beomeo-dong burger spot for takeout before Samsung Lions Park

Downtown sits in the Believe Heritage shopping block in Daegu! The exterior is total Downtown vibes, haha, such a hip feel~ Maybe because it was the weekend, there were quite a lot of takeout customers and delivery orders kept coming in too👀 I bet lots of people stop by to grab food before heading to Samsung Lions Park (라팍)!

How do you order at Downtown?

You can order easily at a kiosk! There were more menu options than I expected, so I agonized over it for a while, hehe

There's a good variety of burgers and set options too, so plenty to choose from! But a first-timer has to try the signature, right?😎

Is the atmosphere good for a date?

Inside Downtown Daegu Believe Heritage it's super spacious and clean, so tidy~ I usually expect burger places to feel a bit chaotic, but the mood here is really great, I'm telling you! I'd believe you if you said it was a café >_<

The seats are nicely spaced out, and the mix of wood and silver tones in the interior felt really hip✨ It seems good for a date and also fine for visiting with friends!

The self-serve bar had water, napkins, pickles and more. You can take as many pickles as you like too!

How does the Signature Downtown Burger taste?

I picked the signature Downtown Burger! It looks incredible, haha. The patty is thick and it's packed with veggies, so it looked delicious at first glance!!!!!

The patty was so juicy, it burst with juice, the veggies were fresh, and the sauce went together really well! It has that hearty handmade-burger richness but isn't greasy, which I liked🤍 The burger with avocado is famous too, but if it's your first visit, I'd recommend starting with the Signature Downtown Burger!

The Double Cheese Truffle Burger for cheese lovers

My boyfriend ordered the Double Cheese Truffle Burger! He's a certified cheese lover, so he chose it without a second thought, and the verdict: totally, completely satisfied!

It's loaded with cheese and has a subtle truffle aroma, so it was even tastier than I expected!! I think people who love cheeseburgers will go crazy for this🧀

Side: Chicken Fries

For a side we ordered Chicken Fries! Burgers alone might feel a little lacking, but eating them together is the best combo~ a perfect pair! The portion was more generous than I expected and crispy, just right with the burgers!

Downtown Daegu Believe Heritage: worth the price?

Honestly, I had the bias that handmade burgers are pricey with small portions, but Downtown was bigger than I expected and packed with ingredients, so I was very satisfied🤍 If you're looking for a place to grab takeout before going to Samsung Lions Park, a top handmade burger spot in Suseong, Daegu, or a good date spot in Beomeo-dong, Downtown Daegu Believe Heritage is worth a visit🍔
