Hongdae restaurant in Seoul for yukhoe with clear gomtang: Anok
Anok is a Korean restaurant in a standalone hanok (traditional wooden house) down an alley off Hongik-ro in Seogyo-dong, Mapo, Seoul. Clear gomtang (beef bone soup) at 13,000 won, Pyongyang naengmyeon in cold broth at 14,000 won and yukhoe (raw beef tartare) at 26,000 won were ordered together, with the yukhoe breaking up the mild soup and the gently seasoned noodles. Calm in contrast to Hongdae's busy streets, Anok is an easy Korean restaurant to bring visitors from abroad.
