When driving on rainy days, there were times when the glass looked smeared and my view felt frustratingly unclear. Removing oil film was difficult every time I did a self-service wash, so I tried AutoGrooming Clean View while looking for something easier to work with.
What was it like wiping with the dedicated towel?
Previously, my arms would hurt from gripping a sponge and scrubbing hard. With Clean View, you spray the solution and wipe it with the included dedicated towel, so there was less pressure to scrub with all my strength. When I used it, the oil film wiped away well and the job felt simple.
What were the contents and work location like?
The box included the windshield film remover and a dedicated towel. I liked not having to separately prepare a towel or pad for scrubbing the oil film.
It was convenient that I could work in an underground parking garage, too. Away from a car wash, wiping it off with a damp towel was also easy.
One bottle also felt generously sized. The original post describes it as enough for about 3–4 or more applications over all of a car's glass. The claim that it does not cause whitening on rubber trim also made it feel less daunting to use.
What order did you follow to remove the oil film?
First, I sprayed the solution evenly onto dry glass.
Next, I rubbed the broad surface about five times with the included dedicated towel. I stopped when the beaded-up appearance disappeared and it felt like the solution was adhering to the glass.
Lastly, I rinsed it thoroughly with clean water. Once I was done, the glass looked clear and transparent, which I was happy with.
Did you try it on shower-booth water stains, too?
I tried it not only on car glass, but also to remove water stains from the shower booth in my bathroom at home. Where I used it, the water stains wiped away quite well.
What did you like most while using it?
What I liked most was the convenience. I could tackle the oil-film removal that had felt cumbersome during self-service washes relatively easily with the dedicated towel. Having the towel included also reduced the hassle of preparation.
