I received the Everlast Men’s Mini Terry Training Set and tried it on. With its full-zip hoodie and straight-leg pants, I wore it at home, then used it for nearby outings and light exercise.

What made the matching set comfortable?
When I had to head out or go exercise in a hurry, I had one less thing to think about: how to match my top and bottom. It was an easy set to wear together, so I reached for it in everyday life.

How were the mini terry fabric and overall fit?

The mini terry fabric felt thinner and lighter than thick brushed fleece or heavier terry. It was breathable and comfortable, and the overall roomy oversized silhouette made it easy to move in. There is an Everlast logo on the chest of the hoodie and the back of the pants.

How did the blue hoodie and red pants work together?
I wore the blue full-zip hoodie with the red straight-leg pants. Rather than matching the top and bottom in the same color, I combined contrasting primary colors, which gave the outfit some personality.

Were the hood and waistband comfortable for long wear?
When I zipped the hoodie all the way up, the way it wrapped around my neck felt secure. The hood was roomy too, covering my head fully. The ribbed cuffs were sturdy, so they did not slide down when I pushed up my sleeves, which was handy while exercising.
The pants have a relaxed straight-leg fit, so unlike joggers, they did not tighten around my ankles or feel stuffy. They also made my legs look longer when worn. The waistband felt soft, with no sense of pressure even over a long time.

Was it useful for light exercise and outings?
It was comfortable for going to the convenience store after wearing it at home, or for light cardio at the gym. The price of the top and bottom also felt reasonable to me. However, the original post did not state a specific price.

How did it hold up at the knees and after washing?
While I wore it, the fabric had a nice amount of stretch, and the knees bagged out less than I expected. It also dried quickly after washing, which made it easy to care for.
What inner layer did I wear with the primary-color set?
Personally, I liked it best with a basic white or gray T-shirt layered underneath. Adding a gray inner layer made the strong blue and red colors look much more subdued.

Who would this set suit?

I think it would suit anyone who likes lightweight fabric and a roomy straight-leg fit. For me, it was satisfying that I could wear it continuously from lounging at home to light exercise and nearby outings.
