Pyeongtaek small wedding café: bulgogi panini and garlic bread, Sisup
In short
Sisup (시숲) is a large glass-walled café in Hyeondeok-myeon, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi, that also rents out its outdoor garden for small weddings. After a day out, the writer and her husband ordered a bulgogi panini (₩14,800), six-clove garlic bread (₩6,800), an almond cream latte and a blueberry smoothie at Sisup, and finished everything even though they had already eaten lunch. Generous portions for the price make Sisup a Pyeongtaek café that breaks the stereotype that large cafés are overpriced.

My husband and I were on our way back from a day out and wanted to stop at a big café, so I searched around and found Sisup (시숲). I think it's easily the best large café in Pyeongtaek, so let me introduce it :)
Sisup hours and parking in Pyeongtaek
Sisup is open on weekdays (Mon–Fri) 10:00–16:00 (last order 15:30) and on weekends (Sat–Sun) 10:00–20:00 (last order 19:30). There are no closed days and no break time.

The parking lot at Sisup is seriously spacious~ Some large cafés have awkward parking, but here you can visit without any parking worries.
Can you have a small wedding at Sisup?
This large Pyeongtaek café also rents out its space for weddings, and they told us an outdoor small wedding was held there last Saturday. The glass-walled building is nice, but the outside is also so wide and prettily done. No wonder!

The outdoor area is so lush and well kept that a small wedding here would be wonderful. For wedding inquiries, you contact the café separately :)
Inside Sisup: space and atmosphere
The inside is really spacious, and every corner is so pretty, even the restrooms. Even though it was a weekday, lots of people came, maybe because they have many regulars. Plenty of elegant older ladies come too, and it was one of those moments where I vowed to become a grandma like that haha

Sisup is also well known as a brunch café in Pyeongtaek, so I briefly considered the Sisup Brunch. But I love panini, so I chose the bulgogi panini, and my husband loves garlic bread, so he picked the six-clove garlic bread. We also ordered one almond cream latte and one blueberry smoothie.

The self-serve bar is kept neat as you can see above, and they sell bubble solution too! If you come with little kids, it's a perfect item for running around and playing outside~
Everything we ordered at Sisup: how big were the portions?
That day our Sisup table had the bulgogi panini, six-clove garlic bread, almond cream latte and blueberry smoothie.

With the great view outside and the cozy mood of this large Pyeongtaek café, the food looked so good that I couldn't not take photos. The portions are really generous for the price, so Sisup wipes out the prejudice that large cafés are expensive.
Sisup bulgogi panini: how does it taste?

This is my pick and my absolute favorite, the bulgogi panini~ It was so good from the first bite that I couldn't help thinking, ah, I should have ordered the brunch.
The cheese is so nutty and rich, and the bread is warmed just right, so the moment it hit my mouth I felt happy. The savory depth of the cheese was no joke. My husband said, "I think they use premium cheese?" and I totally agreed.

It seems they use more than one kind of cheese. I've had bulgogi panini in lots of places, but Sisup, this large café in Pyeongtaek, is among the best I've had!

The panini has all the different flavors of cheese bouncing around in your mouth, so even if I come again, I'll definitely order the panini~

The salad served alongside was crunchy and really fresh too!
Sisup six-clove garlic bread: how does it taste?

The moment I saw the Sisup menu, I knew my husband would pick the six-clove garlic bread~ He loves garlic bread that much!

I'm usually hard to please with garlic bread, but I completely fell for Sisup's. The garlic cream is deep in flavor, the bread is crispy outside and moist inside, and the garlic aroma hits you right away. The mild sweetness felt nice.
My husband said it felt like lying down on a bed of garlic, and he was very happy. I agree, the quality of Sisup's six-clove garlic bread is legit.
Sisup almond cream latte: is it very sweet?

I went back and forth between an americano and the almond cream latte, and I'm so glad I chose it~ I was really satisfied!

I worried it would be too sweet, but it was pleasantly bittersweet and delicious. I strongly recommend it to anyone who doesn't like overly sweet cream lattes!
Sisup blueberry smoothie
Sisup's blueberry smoothie looks so pretty! And it's not just the looks, it tastes really good too~

It's sweet with a fresh tang, the kind of taste you can't get enough of once you start drinking.
We cleaned our plates: verdict on Sisup, a large café in Pyeongtaek

We'd definitely had lunch and were full, but the bread and drinks were all so good that we had to finish everything! I strongly recommend Sisup to anyone looking for a large café in Pyeongtaek~
As a bonus, even Sisup's restroom is so stylish and pretty...♥ It made me want to have my own small wedding here!
