Public-holiday café in Sinnonhyeon: print, lunch & study at Selecto
In short
Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch is a 24-hour auto-brew café near Exit 1 of Sinnonhyeon Station in Seocho, Seoul. On a public holiday, after buying an album at Kyobo Hottracks, the writer had a Geisha blend and a kabocha egg sandwich for lunch at Selecto Coffee, printed documents at 100 won (black-and-white) or 300 won (color), and worked in a partitioned study zone with outlets. Coffee, lunch, printing and work can all be handled in one stop at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon.

Coffee, lunch and printing in one stop near Sinnonhyeon Station on a holiday
Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch is the café I stopped by on a public holiday to get coffee, lunch and printing done all at once. I had gone to Kyobo Hottracks to buy an album, and then visited Selecto Coffee to drink coffee, eat lunch and print some documents.
It's a holiday, so I figured there'd be no office workers around Sinnonhyeon Station, but wow, this place was packed!

How do Selecto Coffee's 5 Americano beans differ?
For the Americano at Selecto Coffee, you can choose from five beans: Mocha Blend, Blue Mountain Blend, Hwasa, Geisha and decaf. It's great to pick the bean to suit your taste, and each one has a distinct charm, so choosing is half the fun.
- Mocha Blend: recommended if you like coffee that's nutty, rich and heavy with no acidity!
- Blue Mountain Blend: perfect if you want a balance of moderate acidity and soft sweetness.
- Hwasa ("Flower", an Ethiopian blend): recommended when you want a mouthful of bright floral aroma and fresh fruity flavor!
- Geisha (Geisha blend): you get a varied flavor that captures rich acidity and deep body at the same time.
- Decaf (sugarcane process): since this is a 24-hour café, it's easy on you if you visit late at night or at dawn.

What I ordered: Geisha blend and kabocha egg sandwich
I ordered a Geisha blend Americano and a kabocha egg sandwich! If you like salmon, go for the smoked salmon sandwich! It looked delicious.

Where to print near Sinnonhyeon Station on a public holiday
Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon offers 24-hour printing: ₩100 for black-and-white and ₩300 for color. I needed printouts and searched for print shops, but it was a holiday and the weather was so hot that I looked for the closest place, and that turned out to be Selecto Coffee.

The printing was fast and came out super clean. Both black-and-white and color are available, and with a computer and payment system all set up, it's really easy to use.

There are also lots of snacks, like cookies.
Selecto Coffee study zone with outlets: how long can you stay?
The study zone at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon has partitioned solo seats, an outlet at every seat, and a default 2-hour limit. My favorite space was definitely the study zone! The interior is colorful and stylish, and on one side there's a row of partitioned solo focus seats, just like a study room.

The study zone time is limited to 2 hours by default, so seats turn over well, and best of all every seat has its own outlet, so I could work comfortably without worrying about my laptop battery. The space between seats was wide too, so it was pleasantly roomy.

How did Selecto Coffee's kabocha egg sandwich taste?
The kabocha egg sandwich at Selecto Coffee was really delicious. The bread it's made with is the key point!
I enjoyed a short breather and now I'm heading back!
