Korean cleansing balm for blackheads: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm tested for blackhead- and pore-prone areas. I applied it to a dry face, massaged, emulsified it with water, and rinsed with lukewarm water. Verdict: it left my skin feeling soft and moisturized without tightness.

How did I use HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm?

I spread the product evenly over my dry face, then massaged in circular motions with my fingers, focusing on areas where I was concerned about blackheads or pores. I lightly massaged areas with heavier makeup too, then added water to emulsify it and rinsed with lukewarm water.

The spatula fits inside the lid, so it was convenient to scoop out the product. It was a black balm texture, and it spread like a cream, so applying it over my whole face and rolling it in was not difficult.

How did it feel after cleansing?

I usually do a first and second cleanse, but I tried this product as a one-step cleanse. My skin felt soft afterward, and it finished moisturized without tightness, so it did not feel dry.

Who might prefer this texture?

I prefer a cleansing balm that does not run, and this one did not drip while I was massaging it in, which made it easy to use. It is small enough to fit in one hand, so I thought it would be fine to pack for travel too.
