Retro Korean BBQ in Yeonsinnae, Seoul: galbisal and LA kkotgalbi
Golmokjip Galbisal Yeonsinnae Main Branch is a charcoal beef restaurant in an alley by Exit 6 of Yeonsinnae Station in Eunpyeong, Seoul. After a move, the writer came for dinner with her mother and her fiancé and ordered one 500g platter of galbisal (beef rib meat) and one 600g platter of LA kkotgalbi (LA-style marinated flower ribs), eating amid 1980s-90s retro decor. The three had different favorites, but the writer's mother, who is fussy about beef, said they had come to the right place.
