Halla tonic highball after a Jongmyo walk: Hey Jinny, Euljiro bar
Hey Jinny is a cooking bar (요리주점) on the second floor near Exit 10 of Euljiro 3(sam)-ga Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. After a walk around Jongmyo Shrine, the writer stopped in at 4 PM on a weekend for a watermelon highball, a Halla tonic made with Hallasan soju, crispy eggplant with a sancho pepper kick, and Osaka niboshi shrimp oil pasta. The sunlit window seats at Hey Jinny are made for a highball, and the food is every bit as good.
