A Seochon café and wine bar with a great-value lunch you can only get at midday: Wine Stein Seochon, a brunch spot worth knowing!

Pasta and salad, mushroom soup, and the calm of a sip of fragrant coffee.

A croissant sandwich, mushroom soup, and an ice-cold cola.
It was a lovely day with a cool breeze, blue sky and pretty puffy clouds, so I headed to Seochon with my mom. This is the story of Wine Stein Seochon, a Seochon café and wine bar that's perfect for brunch: a quiet, soothing café at lunchtime that transforms in a flash into a stylish wine bar in the evening.
Where is Wine Stein Seochon, and what about hours and parking?

The professor character is so cute too!!

What is the atmosphere inside Wine Stein Seochon?
Wine Stein Seochon has a large hall with open floor-to-ceiling windows and a tidy, varied seating layout. As a proper Seochon wine bar, it's packed with wine bottles from the entrance, and the window seats look out over the city.
They say it started in 2017 at Namsam Hill (Namsam-eondeok) because they wanted to break the stereotype that wine is hard and expensive and tear down that wall. In 2020 it moved on past Cheonggyecheon, and in 2025 it opened in Seochon!
There are plenty of group tables too!! Oh my, a group of middle-aged ladies came in to enjoy brunch, heehee, and they were busily taking photos, too.
What can you buy at the Wine Stein Seochon shop corner?
On one side of the spacious room, there's a whole corner packed with wine, wine snacks, and all sorts of cute little goods~~

Wine and wine snacks alongside adorable little goods, aww. You don't even need to visit a separate gift shop, haha.

It's a wine bar, so the wine bottle clip pins are super cute, right? And there are even shell plates that suit the coming summer~~
And the tea filters are really adorable too. Even I got lost gazing at them and ended up buying some, lol. The wrapping was full of that ochre-paper charm too. The house shape is for Dad, the kettle shape is for Mom! They'll use them for tea time together, nicely side by side.
What's on the Wine Stein Seochon menu, and what's in the Lunch Club?
Wine Stein Seochon has a wide menu: coffee, the wine of the day, sangria, tea, non-coffee drinks, and desserts.

From 18:00 it turns into a wine bar!! They have red, sweet, sparkling and white wines. But!!! There's also a "Lunch Club" menu that you can only get at lunchtime ❤️

Set B and Set C that Mom and I ordered
Mom and I ordered Set B (croissant sandwich, mushroom soup, coffee) and Set C (salad & pasta, mushroom soup, cola), ₩16,500 per person each.

After ordering, you wait a little and everything is laid out in no time.

Neat and appetizing.
How does the mushroom soup at Wine Stein Seochon taste?

The mushroom soup at Wine Stein Seochon had such a rich mushroom aroma~ The kind of flavor you want to keep eating~ I think everyone, young or old, would like it.

Crunchy croutons snap between your teeth and really bring out the texture.
What's in the croissant sandwich?
The croissant sandwich at Wine Stein Seochon is a chorus of carrot, arugula and all sorts of fresh vegetables. The contrasting colors are pretty, too. Crisp sliced apple gives it both texture and sweetness.

Rich cheese, mild and lightly salty pork loin ham, fresh arugula and sweet apple make a delicious combination. I wanted one more, haha.
How were the pasta and salad?

The clean-looking bowl was so pretty I wanted it. They say the pasta at Wine Stein Seochon changes with the season and weather! Today it was a tasty tomato ragù sauce with a slight hint of curry..??!! It was so good I finished all the sauce.

The salad comes with the mushroom soup! Tomato, ricotta cheese, arugula and green salad, and carrot rapée (French-style shredded carrot salad) all go together nicely.
Signature blend coffee, "Seochon Blossom"
The coffee is Wine Stein Seochon's signature blend, "Seochon Blossom." They say it combines the elegance of jasmine, the freshness of orange and peach, and the deep flavor of cacao!
At the next table, a group of middle-aged ladies were clicking away with their cameras, chatting in low voices with lots of giggles, "Oh, we're having brunch too!", and my ears perked up 😄😄 How about brunch and a glass of wine at the lovely Wine Stein Seochon on the weekend~ I'd recommend it as a Seochon date spot, too.

What else is worth seeing near Wine Stein Seochon?
Right in front of Wine Stein Seochon is the Sejong Village Food Culture Street (Sejongmaeul Eumsik Munhwa Georiu) alley, which is lovely for a slow stroll. The National Palace Museum of Korea is nearby too, so it's a nice place to look around! If you want a light brunch, have a good time at Wine Stein Seochon with its hearty set menu of three choices.
