When is NEW Oh! My Ghost showing, and at what times?
The play NEW Oh! My Ghost (오! 나의 귀신님) runs at Aruto Small Theater in Daehak-ro from Friday, June 5, 2026 to Sunday, January 31, 2027. Shows are at 19:30 Tuesday to Friday, 15:00 and 18:00 on Saturday, and 14:00 and 16:30 on Sunday. There are no shows on Mondays.
This was a weekend outing to Hyehwa, a date and a day out in one. We hadn't seen a play in a long time, and I heard about a very well-reviewed, famous one, so I thought I'd introduce it today.

Oh! My Ghost has a long history. Even among Hyehwa plays it's popular, it advertises a lot and it's so famous that it was already one of the plays I knew well.

When should you go to get a good seat with walk-up tickets?
Walk-up tickets are available for Oh! My Ghost at Aruto Small Theater, and the box office opens exactly 1 hour before the show. The writer arrived at 2 PM for the 3 PM Saturday show and got her tickets first in line.
If you want to pick a good seat, I recommend moving early! My boyfriend and I are both capital-I introverts, so the front row felt a bit embarrassing and we chose the second row.

How to get to Aruto Small Theater
Aruto Small Theater in Daehak-ro is close to Hyehwa Station, and the signposts are good, so we got there easily and quickly. It's a pretty well-known place, too!

The pamphlet lists the cast and a bit of the story in great detail, so it was nice to browse before the show.
When can you enter Aruto Small Theater, and what's inside?
Aruto Small Theater is on the 4th floor of the Yeongyeong Building, and you can enter from 15 minutes before the show starts. Inside there are water, a restroom, a seating chart and luggage lockers.

We also arrived in good time, and the cute, cozy atmosphere left a great first impression.

The most anticipated moment: checking today's cast! I don't actually see plays that often, but meeting the actors set for the exact date and time I picked feels like fate, like a personal connection, and it's kind of amazing.

There was water, a restroom, and a neatly prepared seating chart, which I liked, and there were luggage lockers too.

Today's cast covered four roles: Jaerim, Hanbyeol, Taegu and Seonhwa. I got to know the names and faces of the actors who would make today's stage before heading in.

There was also merchandise made like stickers for each actor, and you could feel the quality.
How were the second-row seats and the stage?
The stage of Oh! My Ghost felt clean and finely crafted, and the props and set changed far more than expected during the show. The second row was close, yet the best spot for actors and audience to share the moment, the writer says.
Up to this point I had no idea the props and set would change this much. It was a play with a real sense of scale in many ways.

The second row seemed like the best spot for actors and audience to breathe together, so I liked the choice of seats. The theater is quite spacious and tidy for a small one, and upbeat music played while we waited, so it was never boring. And then the show began!
An honest review of Oh! My Ghost
For the writer, Oh! My Ghost was the show she laughed at hardest among all the videos, shows, plays and movies she has seen recently. Besides the laughs, there were emotional scenes where the actresses' tearful acting made her cry along with them.
I had so much fun that it was a very satisfying, precious and happy time.
The male actors were so polite and well-mannered! They had especially many lines in this show, and it was amazing how they performed without a single mistake.
The actresses showed cute, bubbly charm and acting that lingered long after. Two of them in particular had tearful scenes that left such an impression that I was glad I'd brought tissues. There was no way not to cry along, T_T

And there was photo time after the show~ Theater really is the flower of acting... so lively and immediate, and maybe because it's a place where audience and actors breathe together, it felt special and new, which I loved.

Impressions of each actor by role
Jaerim
An actor with a truly standout height. He had a huge number of lines and handled them so well that I was impressed. The lights were hot and his role was the biggest, so he moved a lot and sweated heavily, but that sweat felt like passion, so even the sweat looked so cool,,! An actor who radiated kindness!
Hanbyeol
An actress whose command of the stage made me wonder how so much energy comes out of such a slim frame, with a cute, adorable look that stood out. She changed costumes quite often and came back very fast, so she must have been really busy backstage,,!

Seonhwa
The actress playing the ghost. Even to an ordinary person like me, her diction and voice projection were overwhelmingly good, and you could tell actors are different. Several times she genuinely burst out laughing mid-scene and then got right back into character, which was amazing. Her tearful acting was so sad T_T

Taegu
An actor I felt I'd seen a lot in the media, with a voice and diction that were really something. He played the scene-stealing supporting role, wearing the most makeup and changing clothes the most, which must have been hard, but thanks to him I laughed so much and was so happy. He looks a little like the actor Jang Seung-jo in person haha
Is it a good Hyehwa date play?
The writer ranks Oh! My Ghost as the most fun play she has seen in the past 5 years and gives it 5 out of 5 stars. A romantic comedy that is fun, sad, funny and has a twist, it comes recommended as a Hyehwa date play.
The Oh! My Ghost team was cute to the very end T_T The quality and the fun were so good that I want to spread the word to everyone around me. It's a play I'd like to see once more someday because it was so much fun!
If you're looking for a romantic comedy for a Hyehwa date, a play that wrings out the tears and runny noses, try Oh! My Ghost! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
