Gamsam Station, Daegu Korean restaurant: meat naengmyeon, Yukbanjang

I came to Daegu for a personal errand! And I went to Yukbanjang with my number one Daegu friend, the closest of all my Daegu friends~~! So let me introduce Yukbanjang Daegu, a good pick for yukgaejang in Daegu, naengmyeon near Gamsam Station, and lunch near Gamsam Station!

Yukbanjang Daegu location, parking and how to get there from Gamsam Station

Yukbanjang Daegu (Yukbanjang 육반장; it shows up on maps as Yukbanjang Gwangjanggakoa Gwangko Branch) is at 177 Dangsan-ro, Dalseo-gu, Daegu, on the 1st floor (Gamsam-dong 107-23). For parking, use the public lot across from the restaurant. If you come by subway, it's a 2-minute walk from Exits 2 and 3 of Gamsam Station on Daegu Line 2.

• Bus: use the Seodaegu Tax Office, Duryu Water Purification Office (opposite side), Gamsam Intersection or Seonam Market (opposite side) stops
• On foot: 7 minutes from Seonam Market, 4 minutes from LG Electronics Best Shop and Samsung Store Seodaegu, 9 minutes from Gamsam Elementary School
• Hours: 10:30–21:00 (open until 15:00 on Sundays)
• Break time: 15:30–16:30 (no break time on Sundays)

How is the meat naengmyeon at Yukbanjang Daegu?

The summer menu meat naengmyeon at Yukbanjang Daegu comes piled with a generous meat topping. Here's the menu~! The weather was hot that day, so we ordered two bowls of cool, filling meat naengmyeon and a plate of meat and potato mandu.

To taste the naengmyeon's own flavor, I didn't add any mustard or vinegar.

Meat and potato mandu or rib mandu: which did we pick?

The mandu menu at Yukbanjang Daegu has rib mandu and meat and potato mandu, and we went with the meat and potato mandu~ haha Here it is, the meat and potato mandu. haha

The meat, the mandu, even the meat on top, every single item was so good that I wolfed it all down.

Is the meat naengmyeon at Yukbanjang Daegu worth a return visit?

After the yukgaejang, the meat naengmyeon at Yukbanjang Daegu was delicious too, so I plan to come back. After eating well I even took a bbangnicher (a belly-full selfie). I'm BMI 29, and I happily ate two bowls of meat naengmyeon and one plate of meat and potato mandu~ I ordered naengmyeon because it's summer, and as expected, it was so good. The yukgaejang I had last time was tasty, and the meat naengmyeon was just as good!

The staff were also so kind and welcoming. If you drank a lot the night before, yukgaejang would be great as a hangover soup, and since the restaurant is spacious with an open kitchen, I think it would also suit gatherings or company dinners. If you want cool naengmyeon on a hot day like these, I recommend Yukbanjang Daegu (Yukbanjang Gwangjanggakoa Gwangko Branch) as a good naengmyeon spot and date spot in Gamsam-dong.

It was so good that I even took a business card home.
