Picking up pizza at Gasan Digital Complex Station before a Gocheok baseball game
On a weekend I was heading to Gocheok to watch a baseball game, and since I had plans around Gasan Digital Complex Station first, I grabbed a pizza to go from Clap Pizza Gasan Public. I'd been wondering what to snack on at the stadium, and pizzaseemed like the filling answer, so I decided to take it away from Clap Pizza Gasan Public!

Where is Clap Pizza Gasan Public?
Clap Pizza Gasan Public is a pizza restaurant on the 1st floor of Gasan Public near Gasan Digital Complex Station. It's connected to the Knotted store, so going in through there makes it easy to find. Clap Pizza is already a well-known favorite among Gasan office workers.

Clap Pizza Gasan Public runs together with Downtowner, so you can enjoy tasty burgers and pizza in the same place. They sell cold beer too, so it looked like a nice spot for a casual drink after work! It's always bustling at weekday lunch.

What are the atmosphere and seating like, and can you eat alone?
The inside of Clap Pizza Gasan Public is clean and hip, with seats from group tables to spots good for dining solo, so it looked fine for all kinds of party sizes. There's a lot of delivery too, and I saw plenty of delivery riders coming and going.

I spotted the draft beer taps, and the origins of the ingredients were clearly posted! There are two kiosks right at the entrance, so ordering is easy. Pizza and beer is the truth, sob. Next time I'll have it in the store with draft beer, haha. The kitchen is semi-open too, so you can trust the hygiene.

How do you choose a Clap Pizza size?
Clap Pizza comes in three sizes, P, R and L, so you can order to match your group, which I liked. If you come alone, go with the personal size without worry; with several people, choose regular or large depending on the headcount.
The pizza box with pizza drawn on it was so cute too, haha. The menu had lots of varieties I haven't seen elsewhere, so I agonized and ended up ordering half garlic shrimp, half steak. There are side menu items too, which would go well with a personal pizza.

Self bar and drink refills
Clap Pizza Gasan Public has a self bar where you can help yourself to small plates, knives, forks and onion pickles. If you eat in the store, refills on drinks are unlimited once you order one. The self bar was kept super clean too.

What comes in a Clap Pizza takeout order?
Clap Pizza's takeout comes with pickles, garlic dipping sauce, Parmesan cheese, hot sauce, a fork and even wet wipes, they really thought of everything, sob! It was packed carefully so I could carry it safely, and you could feel the consideration for making the pizza easy to eat.

Is a regular half-and-half garlic shrimp and steak enough for two?
A Clap Pizza regular has 6 slices, so two people can finish a whole pie without strain. The toppings were thick and the pizza was baked golden brown! It looked so delicious, haha. I was torn, ordered on a recommendation, and I'm glad I went half-and-half.

Garlic shrimp pizza
The garlic aroma wafts up from Clap Pizza's garlic shrimp pizza, which is topped with garlic baguette. The bouncy shrimp texture and the garlic went well together. I could tell the toppings use good ingredients, which I liked! A fixing pin was stuck in so nothing would shift.

Steak pizza
Clap Pizza's steak pizza is topped with thick steak and asparagus, and the meat has a real chew, far more satisfying than the big chain pizzas! The steak is seriously big and delicious, sob. The sauce was right up my alley too.

Clap Pizza half-and-half as a ballpark snack: how was it?
Ordering half garlic shrimp, half steak let me alternate between two flavors, and since it's easy to eat one slice at a time, I could nibble between innings. I bought beer too and enjoyed it together, so even though our team lost, it was a fun day out at the ballpark. Next time I go to Gocheok, I'll take Clap Pizza again, haha.
If you're looking for a lunch spot in Gasan Digital Complex, a pizza place in Gasan, or a lunch date spot in Gasan, I recommend enjoying a delicious pizza at Clap Pizza Gasan Public. You get generous toppings and rich cheese. If you want a pizza that satisfies, go for it!
