At Downtown Gasan Public you order at the kiosk and take a buzzer. There's a self-service bar on one side, so help yourself to plates, forks, napkins and so on.

A Downtown branch with two kinds of pickles

I haven't seen this at other branches, but Downtown Gasan Public has two kinds of pickles: spicy pickles and original pickles. Both are tasty, so enjoy whichever you like.

Since two shops share the space, the menu is split into burgers and pizza. I came to crush some burgers today, so burgers it is!!

The Chimichurri Avocado Burger had just come out as a new item and I wanted to try it, but it was so popular that the ingredients had run out. Sob. Next time I'll go early and get it, no matter what.

So I ordered a burger set and chicken bites, keeping it simple (?).

Double Cheese Truffle Burger set: price and taste

The Double Cheese Truffle Burger at Downtown Gasan Public is ₩12,400, and for ₩4,900 more you get a set with a drink and Original Fries. Next to the self-service bar you can have any soda you like, as much as you like!! I love Fanta Pine, and they had it, so I was so happy.

Downtown burgers seem to have a really generous amount of sesame seeds on the bun. Maybe that's why it's so satisfying to chew and tastes even nuttier.

Maybe because it's a double, the Double Cheese Truffle Burger had two kinds of cheese. The patty is infused with truffle aroma, so if you like truffle, definitely try it.

On top of that, fresh vegetables and tomato. It has that yummy handmade burger feel, and the look and taste are both the best! A Gasan lunch spot that's good any time, with anyone.

Classic Cheese Burger (Double) for ₩12,900

My friend ordered the Classic Cheese Burger Double (₩12,900). Is it just me, or does someone else's food always look bigger? Turns out it really was huge because it has two patties, haha.

Are the Cheese Fries worth adding to a set?

The cheese fries at Downtown Gasan Public are ₩5,800 on their own, so I added them to the set to get them cheaper. Savory, salty cheese is melted nicely and poured over the fries. They're good warm and good cold.

Which sauce to pick for the Original Chicken Bites?

The Original Chicken Bites are ₩5,800, and you choose a sauce from 6 options. Only eating burgers felt a bit sad (?), so I also had some chicken that's easy to pick at one bite at a time.

I chose the House sauce. It has just a slight kick, so it isn't heavy and it was delicious. One dip and I was totally satisfied with my choice! The chicken is boneless, and it's a size you can spear with a fork and eat in one or two light bites.
